The 12 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, crown moldings and 6 massive marble fireplaces makes this home a unique family rental in the upper East Side. A sweeping stone entrance leads to first floor which has a formal dining room with balcony and a formal parlor - both with stately marble fireplaces, a full kitchen and a guest bath.
The second floor has two spacious bedrooms, each with private bath and walk in closets. The third floor has two very large bedrooms, a den and one full bath. This is the perfect home away from home for families seeking the ultimate in privacy and exclusivity during their stay in New York.
Two additional rooms, the period piece music room and the formal parlor room, are also available for an additional fee. These rooms are original to the house (circa 1870) and have twelve foot ceilings, two fireplaces, original bronze chandeliers, bronze and gilded crown moulding and cornices, and three breathaking ten foot hand carved arches with pocket doors. The music room also boasts a rare turn of the century Steinway grand piano. Its the perfect space for entertaining guests while in Manhatten.We have a private chef available,catering, bartender and wine steward and in house kitchen stocking prior to your arrival.
