Your flat in the heart of the Eternal City
Casa Trevi is situated in the heart of baroque Rome, a stone’s throw away from Fontana di Trevi at the foot of the Quirinale hill, in a splendid seventeenth-century mansion. Casa Trevi places at your disposal two finely restored and furnished flats with independent entrances. They both overlook a wonderful inner garden complete with orange trees, fountains in which fish and tortoises swim, and Roman ruins.
The flat (for 4 people) includes a living room with two single sofa-beds and a kitchenette (fires, microwave, fridge etc), a double bedroom and two bathrooms with showers, hair dry. The flat is equipped with color TV and air conditioning. Linen and towels (one bath towel, one hand towel and one washcloths) included.
Just outside the main door you can find the most famous marvels of Rome’s historical centre: Fontana di Trevi; Piazza di Spagna with its celebrated Trinità dei Monti steps; the Pantheon; Via del Babuino and Via Margutta with their bustling artists’ studios and antique shops. Finally, a small open-air market just opposite the building allows you the opportunity to sample the local fresh products or simply browse round.

Great stay in this peaceful apartment

We stayed at the Casa Trevi in August, 2011. The apartment is in a courtyard just off a bustling street, very close to the Trevi Fountain and very well located. The courtyard is very nice and the turtles swam in a little pool just outside our door. Everything was very well secured and we felt very safe. I don't think it took more than a minute or two to walk to the fountain. Although the street was quite busy with small shops, restaurants and people walking to the fountain, the apartment was quite peaceful and quiet. It was very nice to have a calm place to go to after a busy day of walking around Rome. The owner, Marta, arranged for a driver to take us back and forth to the airport for a very reasonable fee. Marta met us at the apartment and gave us a tour of the apartment and info that we needed. She also gave us many great recommendations for restaurants and even mapped out some walking routes to places we wanted to go. We had everything we needed in the apartment and there was plenty of room for our family of four including our two teenage sons. Thank you, Marta, for being such a great host.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
