This property is located on a bluff overlooking Kachemak Bay which is known as "The Halibut Fishing Capital of the World." There is also a "Fishing Hole" on the spit where you can catch salmon. This is probably one of the greatest fishing areas in the world. You can charter fishing trips, bear viewing trips (float planes), or marine viewing trips from locations on the spit or in the town of Homer.
There are many other attractions in this area such as the Pratt Museum, live theater, trips across the bay to boardwalk communities, restaurants, art galleries, hiking trails, etc. Homer is one of the most well-known tourist spots in Alaska. It is located on the Kenai Peninsula and easily accessible to Seward, Cooper Landing, and Kenai/Soldotna, all of which have great fishing and marine life tours, whale watching, glacier viewing, whitewater rafting, etc. It is just the ideal location for a truly magnificent vacation!
