Nestled behind a storefront on Prospect Street in the heart of the Village of La Jolla, sits the Romantic Dream.
You are only steps away from the beach, shops or any of the fabulous restaurants La Jolla offers.
Built in the 1800’s it was used by a Physician to treat his patients.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean this adorable cottage has been fully renovated inside keeping all its cottage charm.
From the street, you enter through wrought iron gates decorated with grape vines that were brought from Europe. Continue down the path you are met with a garden full of colorful seasonal flowers, a private lawn, decking overlooking the ocean and this wonderful romantic cottage.
Entering through the white oval glass door you enter into a light and airy living room with the fully renovated kitchen to your right.
The fully equipped kitchen has all modern stainless steel appliances and there is a dining table and chairs for 4.
The living room has a sleeper sofa for additional guests, flat screen TV and sensational ever changing ocean views.
On the garden level is the master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combo. The master bedroom boasts amazing views and has a walk up closet loft with plenty of storage room for your clothes and suit cases.
Walking down the spiral staircase you will find the guest bedroom also with some ocean views and its own private door and path to the upstairs garden – should you not want to use the spiral staircase.
The ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower.
The Romantic Dream offers public garage parking for one car that is just a block away. Street parking at no cost is also available.
Walk to all restaurants, boutiques, galleries, the beach, playgrounds, tennis courts and more.
There is no need to get into your car unless you would like to venture out to Seaworld, The San Diego Zoo, Legoland, The GasLamp District or any of the other San Diego attractions.

We did not even want to leave our cottage, so bright and sunny, and the ocean view is amazing, sit on the porch or in the house and see the view. We had 4 houses in the area for a wedding and ours was the one everyone wants to come back to. Lots of room, wonderful yard, clean and lots of extra's there. The location was exactly what I planned, park the car and walk everywhere. We walked to the wedding and the dinner, and everywhere. Agents were very easy to work with. Truly a jewel in the middle of town, and yet quiet and lovely. I plan to come back again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
