We just got back from our week vacation in Aquatika. We had a blast! Fernando was an excellent host and did everything he could do to accommodate our requests. We traveled with 2 toddlers and 1 infant. We needed a pack and play for the infant, and Fernando got one for us. He met us at the airport and we followed him back to the apartment. I asked him about a gym to workout and he contacted them (as well as sending me a link to their website). The apartment was exactly what the pictures show. I wish there was a grill at the apartment. It was too hot to cook in the apartment for dinner and it would have been wonderful to have a grill to use (there were a lot of other apartments that had grills). I would also have liked to see more kitchen utensils. There were only a couple utensils to cook with and a couple forks, knives, and spoons. We went to the store and bought some though- no big deal..it just would have been nice to have more. The pool sprinklers were only on Saturdays and Sundays, which was a bummer for the kids. The landscape was very nice and meticulously kept. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying at Fernando's apartment. Fernando was great! He was very honest and extremely hospitable! We would love to return!

Our trip to Aquatika was absolutely perfect. Fernando was incredibly accommodating and his property was exactly what we were looking for. He met us at the airport and then later when we locked ourselves out he met us immediately to give us a spare key. He definitely went above and beyond for us. We had 3 small children and the resort had so much for them to do--playgrounds, kiddie pools (and larger pools), the beach, mini golf.... The resort was not crowded at all while we were there, though maybe it gets more crowded later in the year. And the grounds really are gorgeous! As noted there wasn't much to eat in Loiza, but there were plenty of options within a 20 minute drive. We made most of our meals in the apartment. A few notes on eating in....it was helpful to have a few paper/plastic dishes as there were only dishes for 6 and sometimes it was nice to have a few extra. Also, the BBQ is by the beach which is about a half mile away. We shuttled our stuff by car and we had a great time BBQing while watching the sunset. We had such a wonderful time that we are thinking of making this a yearly vacation. Thanks Fernando!

Family of 5, stayed there for a week. Beautiful resort, great pools as pictured, direct access to the beach. Felt very safe in fully gated and patrolled resort. Loiza is a great location as well, easy drive to San Juan, El Yunque Rain Forest, La Monserrate Beach (top beach) and Fajardo. The locals were also very friendly. Apartment was clean and comfortable - great to have 3 bedrooms, kitchen, eating and living area, as well as pool-side balcony. Would stay there again!

I love this location, the apartment is beautiful with all that is needed. Everything was exactly like is listed. The pictures perfectly match the apartment. Everything was super clean. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry room you name it. The owner pays alot of attention to detail with decoration and necessities. We had beach towels, bath towels, soap. New sponge, wash cloth and dishwasher soap, also there ready for us. Even laundry detergent and dryer sheets. What can I say it was really beautiful place and I will definitely stay again if I had the opportunity,

I had a great time at aquatika, the children enjoy the pool and the access to the beach very much. The grounds are gorgeous and the unit was in excellent condition. The owner was great, very helpful and available.Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this place for families.

Our family of 7 had a great stay. Loved the location close to beaches, shopping, and rain forest. The condo was clean and the gated community safe. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved the variety of water attractions, playgrounds, tennis courts, and miniature golf. The beach was littered one day but then clean the rest of the days. The dryer in the condo was not vented properly but we were very pleased with the condo in general. We would have loved to have a grill, more dish towels and wash cloths and more hand towels and washcloths. Our owner was kind enough to meet us at the airport and lead us to the condo unit wich was very nice of him.

Fernando thank you for the great host .!! we arrived at san juan pretty early, and Fernando was very nice to pick up us at 7am and allow us for early check in. the location is a little hard to find but very close to the beach!!! he made sure everything was ok during our stay and gave us a lot of recommendations of places to go. definitely would stay here next time.

Our family, including three young children, had a wonderful vacation in Puerto Rico. The apartment was nice, clean and perfect for our needs, and the water park and beach amazing! The area featured lots of beautiful nature, and things to see and do within a half hour drive. Thank you Fernando, you were a great host!!!

What can I say??? I can't say anything negative about it. It was what I was expecting and much more! This is a residential-gated community but the amount of pools makes it feel like you are in a water park of some sorts. I went alone with 4 teenagers and I was actually able to relax. Is a safe community, with tons to do for kids and everybody in the family. The beach is literally a few steps away. Our apartment was SPOTLESS! everything you may need was provided. You only have to bring your clothes and food. Everything else Fernando made sure we had it. Even a cooler! He was very quick responding to emails, and called me to make sure I got to the apartment ok and if I needed anything. Which I didn't. Beds were very comfortable and all the rooms had super strong air conditioners. But we didn't needed them because there's a constant stream of cool ocean breeze coming in. The apartment was equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. There were tons of board games and some DVDs for the kids and Cable TV. There's also a full size washer and dryer which I didn't use but for those staying for longer will find very handy. You can also find mom and pops shops very close from Aquatika. You can buy here anything you need. However, in PR you can find Walmarts, Kmarts, and fast food restaurants, etc maybe like 10 minutes away. What else can I say? Well I'm definitively staying here again

Wonderful complex!

My family and I stayed in Fernando's unit the week after Christmas. The unit is very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was very clean and came with basic necessities such as soap and laundry detergent. Fernando was very gracious and helpful in arranging our stay. The description of the property was accurate. The complex is nicely appointed with five beautiful pools and private beach access. Fernando's unit is farther from the ocean, so you don't hear the waves. The beach is short and not suitable for small children to play in the waves (the current is stronger than other nearby beaches). The town of Loiza is very small with few restaurants. We found that when we didn't want to cook in the unit, we had to drive 20 minutes to Loquillo or Pinones for dinner. There is a small grocery store in walking distance from the unit. However, the store has limited selections, and is frequently crowded with people hanging around and listening to loud music. If you need groceries, it is best to stock up at one of the other grocery stores that is farther away. Overall, I would stay here again, but I would plan to do more cooking in the unit.

I stayed in this u nit in March of 2010 and Fernando was gracious then. The second time I stayed was May 2011... As always, I had all appliances at my disposal, washer/dryer, blowdryer, iron, even innertubes for the lazy river. Fernando met me at the airport as soon as I landed and the transaction was painless. I will be back and I hope to rent here again. I wish I could give my experience 10 stars but I guess ill stick with the maximum of 5. Thank you again Fernando for everything, you made my stay so enjoyable that my mother truly believes that the room she stayed in is hers. She said that she will stay no where else on the island...

Hey if you want a quiet relaxing place, and a clean spacious place to stay this is it. Also with enough entertainment inside and out of the gated community to keep all happy. Six adults were in our group and all were completely satisfied with fernando and his property. ps. the little bar and food by the ocean was an extra bonus.I give the whole community a 8.5 out of 10 .

Aquatika is great. The unit and the grounds are just as pictured. Fernando is very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend this unit. There are plenty of grocery stores near by Econo, Wal-mart, Amigo, etc. We would eat breakfast in the unit and go out for dinner. If you want something familiar for dinner, most American chain restaurants are about 30-40 minutes away i.e. Chili's, Outback, Fuddruckers, Longhorn, etc. Loquilllo Beach is a must and though you can swim at the beach at Aquatika, it's a little rough especially for little ones. We did the biobay tour in Fajardo by electric boat ($49 pp) and it was great. I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves if you rent here.

We stayerd at Fernando's place from January 19th to 26th. My friend flew in from Buffalo and me and another friend flew in from Rochester, we were suppose to connect at our connecting flight which didn't happen. The Rochester flight was delayed. With that being said, Fernando was kind enough to pick up my friend from the airport since the car rental was in my name. He then proceeded to take her to the grocery store so that we had some basics. This was very kind of him. Then my flight didn't land until 12am so when we were trying to find Aquatika he was nice enough to accept my phone call. With all that being said I would definitely stay here again. Everything that was listed was there, the only thing that was listed that wasn't was laundry soap, but that was no problem we just bought some, since he went out of his way for us. Thanks again Fernando.

I must start with how welcoming and nice Fernando was with us, with missing our flight and coming in a day later he understood and greeted us the next day at the car rental and took us to get groceries and then to the rental, which was a wonderful condo in a wonderful complex just as pictured, very well maintained, the beach was great, almost like a private beach, and the drives to San Juan and the rain forest were not as long as told everywhere, just an easy 20-30 minutes. A great vacation in all. Highly Recommend Fernando's condo at Aquatika with rates impossible to beat there.

This was a clean, gorgeous, comfortable place to stay! My husband and son loved the view and slept so peaceful to the sounds of the Coqui. Fernando was very pleasent. He made sure everything was in tact for us. Very professional. If you are looking for a place to stay this is it! We were in 20 minute distance from all the places we wanted to see. After sight seeing all day sitting in the hot tub that Aquatika has to offer was relaxing! We give this place 5 STARS!!

My family vacationed here over the Easter/Spring Break week, and it was just what we needed! The condo was just as it's pictured: clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities as listed. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pools, hot tub and beach. During the Easter holiday, the condo was full of Puerto Rican families who were all friendly. Fernando went above and beyond our expectations of an owner. He met us at the airport and led us from the car rental company to a grocery store. He waited there until we gathered food and necessities. He then led us to the condo, gave us a tour, and made sure we were settled in. AMAZING! It helped ease our anxiety after a day of travel. Our family stayed busy the whole week. We took advantage of Aquatika's location and toured El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, Old San Juan, and joined in a snorkeling/sailing tour from Fajardo. Our highlight was the Bio Bay Kayaking tour in the evening our last night. The only downside is that we had to travel some distance to restaurants. Staying at Aquatika requires some additional planning as far as meals go. However, if you are comfortable and willing to cook meals at the condo, you're set. Puerto Rico is incredible and we are extremely satisfied with our trip - We would recommend to anyone who wanted an extreme value in accommodations with great location to other attractions. Thank you Fernando for helping us have a memorable vacation!

I loved my stay at this Condo!

I stayed at the Acquatika condo from March 14-24th and I must say that I had that time of my life. It was the reunion place for my mother and myself as I had not seen her for 9 years. The place was immaculate and there were brochures nicely placed to give visitors an idea of the options available around the area. It was so kid friendly, even though I did not bring any kids with me. I WILL stay there again, I even gave my aunt the information. She was so impressed by the good time I had, that she wants to stay, this was a 5 star resort at a motel price. Could not have been any better.

We stayed in Fernando's apartment for three days, in July. It was amazing. The kids loved this place, specially the pools and the mini golf. The apartment, its extremely clean and everything we need was provided. I'ts definitely a home away from home. Fernando is really nice and a great host. My only recommendation is to put some stickers at the sliding door, for security reasons.

We were worried renting sight-unseen from hundreds of miles away, but we had a spectacular experience. Fernando met us at the airport and showed us the best way to the apartment. Unit was extremely clean and everything we needed was provided. The condo is located a short walk from the beach, but if your worried about being close to water, there are a myriad of pools and a lazy river that runs right past the balcony of this property. The proximity of this apartment to must-see areas is perfect. Loquillo beach and el Yunque are 15-20 minutes away. The BioLuminescent bay and Ferries at Fajardo are about 30 minutes away. Hop on a Ferry and you are less than 2 hours away, door step to the island of Vieques. Take the other Ferry and you can be on Cullebra in the same amount of time. A great day trip that costs you $4 round-trip. Vieques has a great bioluminescent bay as well. Well, this isn't a travel guide, but when you have a place as relaxing as Aquatika in a location that makes a great base of operations for sight-seeing, you can really capitalize on your time with travel, or just relax. One last note on Fernando and his family. We got to spend some time with them on our last day and it was a complete pleasure to get to know them. He is extremely gracious and interested in his renters having a great experience. I also now understand why this unit was so comfortable; Fernando and his family use this apartment themselves as retreat for his family. This is not someone who just rents out properties. He takes care of this place because it is a place his family enjoys. I really appreciated the negotiations, payment and conversations we while working with him. Great Experience.
