Grindstone Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the Hayward area. It is a large 3111 acre lake that can accommodate all of your boating and fishing activities. It is a great fishery, known for its walleye, bass and pan fish.
The shoreline of this beautiful cabin is hard sand bottom and has a gradual elevation change so the swimming area is very large and kid-friendly. The lake views from the cabin are stunning, filtered by sky-reaching pines. Grindstone Lake is located amongst many other premier lakes so you are always close to Hayward, restaurants and convenient shopping options.
The cabin is a 3 story chalet with a large deck and adjoining screen porch. The main floor is an open floor plan with a large kitchen with island adjoining the dining room and a large family room with fireplace. This large open space makes it ideal for entertaining a large group. It is tastefully decorated with a modern flair with all the amenities for you to relax and enjoy all that the lake and Hayward has to offer. You can boat to a nearby restaurant on the lake and enjoy a cold drink or dinner on the deck at water's edge.

Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Beautiful lake, very clear and sandy. You can walk out a long ways on sand. We were disappointed that there was no shoreline (drops from incline directly to water). Just a couple of comments regarding cabin; the owners must have dogs because the sofas were incredibly dirty and smelled so we purchased blankets to cover so you could sit on them. Also, the bedding and pillows are extremely old and very "used". Small details but when you look at the beauty of the home, one would expect these details to be addressed. We did have a great week at this property! Weather could have been better but unfortunately we can't plan that. Thank you for sharing your property !
