I recently stayed here with 4 family members visiting from Australia who wanted to experience the Rockies. As soon as we walked into the house, we were amazed. The views from the property are breathtaking, the bedrooms are huge and well appointed and kitchen was fantastic. In addition, right outside of the backyard is one of the walking trails through Canmore, which we promptly took advantage of upon arrival. The two kids appreciated the abundance of TV's in the house as well and the loft upstairs was perfect for everyone to watch movies together. Lastly, the fact that it was a short walk to downtown Canmore was handy for picking up groceries and shopping for Christmas presents. I would highly recommend others to stay here.

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic 10 day Canmore vacation! This beautiful home is not only cozy but feels luxurious at the same time. The views are incredible and it's so peaceful! This property is very well-designed and organized and so clean too! We are already thinking about our next trip to both enjoy the wonders of the mountains and totally relax in this super house!

My family (three generations) stayed in this house for a week in August 2011. We loved the house. Except for some new furniture, the description and pictures on this site are 100% accurate. The pantry had a lot of food left by previous renters (mostly staples like sugar, flour, tea, coffee filters, etc.) although the kitchen could have used better knives and some plastic storage containers. The laundry room had 2 washers and 2 dryers (!) and was fully stocked with laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there was lots of space, plenty of bathrooms. We had 5 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant but the house could have accommodated more if people were willing to sleep on couches, air mattresses, or the floor. The location was excellent. The river and a pedestrian trail were right out the back door. We could walk to downtown within 5 minutes or walk forever on Canmore's pedestrian trails. My brother went fly fishing right outside the house and caught (and released) a few fish. My only disappointment with the house and location was the lack of wildlife - in the 7 days we were there, the only wildlife we saw from the house was a single deer. Maybe it was the time of year? There were lots of people on the pedestrian trails every day so that may have scared away the animals. Overall, I recommend this property.

Wonderful Summer Getaway

We spent two weeks in this house and we absolutely loved the views, the location from town, and the ease of getting there. All of the amenities were just like pictured, actually even better with new washers and dryers. I highly recommend this home for a getaway in the Canadian Rockies. The town of Canmore is perfect to have as a base and then travel to all the sights to see around the area. Then you get to come "home" to such a lovely place.

We stayed for 2 weeks in September at this beautiful home and fell in love with the property as well as the community of Canmore. The location of the home is unbeatable. We woke up most mornings with views of elk in or on the bank of the river. The home is located directly on the Canmore trail system where you can walk for miles without crossing a street. It is also about a 10 minute walk to town on the trail sytem or a 5 minute walk via sidewalks. We will definitely be back.

We visit Canmore often and have stayed in many rentals but this home has been our favorite by far. The location is wonderful, the views are stunning, and the home is beautifully furnished and fabulously equipped. We would stay here time and time again!

We had a fantastic ski trip in March '09 and can't stop raving about this rental. The house boasts spectacular views from every room, an ideal location on the Bow River just a short walk from downtown restaurants/shops and a very spacious layout. Canmore is a really special place and we really couldn't have asked for a better home to rent while skiing the nearby resorts. Everything was really perfect. Whether for a summer or winter vacation I would highly recommend. We look forward to visiting again.
