  We rented this condo for a month before Christmas. We had a project in Jonestown and this was a nice place to come home to. The grounds and property are well kept. Security personnel were at the gate almost every time we drove in. Parking spots are tight, but the assigned spot for this condo is just around the corner from the elevator. The condo is on the second floor only about three doors from the elevator. The fitness center is on the first floor a few feet from the same elevator. This is one of the best located condos on the property. The fitness center has nice equipment and is well maintained. There is a sauna and hot tub along with a pool. We soaked in the hot tub most evenings. The center is also an internet hotspot. There is a private conference room with plenty of room to work if you need to get some work done on the computer. It is hidden, so walk into the workout area. It is tucked into a corner. The condo itself is nice. I'm a light sleeper, but found the bed to be comfortable. The lake water was down (a lot), but the view from the balcony is what you see in the photo. The balcony is a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or watch dusk settle. You will be two doors away from the restaurant and bar. There were three or four nights while we were there that the music and conversation were a little loud for me, but we brought a white noise machine and earplugs so I slept soundly. All in all, this is one of the nicest properties for rent in the Lago Vista area and this condo is convenient to parking, the fitness center and the restaurant.

  My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We found everything very easily thanks to the detailed instructions from the owner. The condo was furnished nicely and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The couch was comfortable and the bed was very soft- kind of made our bed at home seem too hard! I was impressed with the shower. The view from the balcony was beautiful, even with the lake being a little low this summer. We ate breakfast at the table and watched the boats go by. The condo is very close to the bar/restaurant, which we visited on our first night. It was nice, not too busy. On the second night the noise from people on the balcony at the bar woke me up, but my husband slept right through it. I wouldn't say the noise was too loud, but it was noticeable for a light sleeper like myself. I would definitely recommend this place- clean, comfortable, great A/C, very nice outdoor pool/hot tub area (we didn't get around to visiting the indoor pool with the lovely weather we had that weekend).

  My daughter and I recently stayed here and we had a great time. The complex was very nice and the condo clean and well-kept. Our only problem was that we were not provided with enough towels and washcloths initially, but the owner quickly rectified this when notified. It is a little further out of town than I initially anticipated so be aware of that, but it is well worth the drive.

  My fiancé and I enjoyed a relaxing couple of days at Lake Travis! We went swimming in the pools, worked out at the on-site gym, and just hung out at the condo. We will definitely be back!

  We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay...! The condo was immaculate and well-appointed. This was the first vacation I've experienced where I truly felt at home. I look forward to more stays here in the future and will definately recommend this home away from home to my family and friends....

  I cannot say enough how perfect this condo is for a relaxing location with all the amenities that is still close to adventure. The rental was exactly as described and was very tastefully decorated in a modern style. The sofa is a sleeper so it's a bit harder than normal but by no means uncomfortable. The bed we found to be very comfortable, although it sits a little low to keep up the modern theme. There were extra linens in the bottom drawer of the dresser which were of much better quality than those already made up, but I believe that is because the ones already on the bed match the comforter while the nicer ones are a different color. All the kitchen amenities were present and we were stocked on toilet paper but not paper towels on arrival. It is best to come prepared with all your groceries and paper products as the grocery store is about a 10 minute drive and restaurants are 15-30 minutes away. The trade off is a secluded, private location with unbeatable views of the lake. The picture of the balcony view here does not do it justice, it's absolutely breathtaking at sunset. This part of the lake doesn't have a lot of boat traffic either (although the marina is close by) so sitting on the patio is very serene. The owner, Paul, was very prompt in his response to questions throughout the stay. We had a minor problem occur around 6 in the evening near the end of our week and the owner was there with a smile within an hour to correct it. That type of customer service is priceless. If you can stay during the week I would recommend it for those that like a less crowded atmosphere. We never had a problem getting chairs at the pool or noisy neighbors. Overall I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay here again on future lake trips!

  This is an excellent place to stay! The view of Lake Travis from our 2nd floor balcony were excellent, AND since it faced west, the sunset was fantastic. The condo was clean and stocked with all essentials (kitchen had cookware and silverware, etc.). The grounds were well kept. All 3 pools were clean and we enjoyed the options to sit in recliners in the sun or under "shade" cabanas. There is a boat rental place less than 2 miles from the resort and the prices were reasonable. My only "complaint" is the travel distance to "The Oasis" and other places to eat were farther than anticipated. By the way... it is worth the drive to visit "The Oasis" for an unbelievable sunset. There are also nice shops at "The Oasis" so get there early. AND... there is live music there on the weekends. Overall I would highly recommend staying here as it was a perfect get-away!

  Furniture was dated and we thought the bed was uncomfortable. Condo was next door to resort bar and the noise kept us up until 2:00am. The view from the balcony was nice and the complex pools were great.

  Owner response: The Brizo's Restaurant (2 doors down)is very busy during Memorial Day weekend. There was also a wedding that weekend at the restaurant.The condo is furnished with modern IKEA furniture. Please read our other reviews.

  If you are looking for a private, secluded, amazingly beautiful spot for complete and utter relaxation: this is IT. It is quiet and a the view is STUNNING. The apartment is clean, well-stocked with kitchen supplies/linens and tons of sitting/relaxing space, including a beautiful patio overlooking everything. The pool was also to die for, the most comfy lounge chairs under a cute little cabana overlooking the lake. The waterfall over the water is so serene and lovely, definitely worth the scary trip down the steps. There are a couple things which heed warning. Bring toliet paper! Also being secluded is fine if you are well stocked with food/supplies, so be sure to prepare for that. It is pretty remote out there and a trek to go out for a meal. Also next-door is a pretty decent restaurant/bar and those people closed it down late on Friday night and as the night progressed, they got increasingly loud on the patio. But hey, we're on vacation, right?

  My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We loved the balcony in the morning for coffee and in the evening we watched the sunset while we sipped on a cocktail. The view is beautiful and Lake Travis is very nice. We rented a jetski and went out on the lake one day. We also visited Austin a couple of times during our stay which was very nice and only a short drive away. Paul is great. We hade a very smooth transaction and he was quick to respond to my questions. The condo is a great value if you are thinking of staying in this area.

  We had a wonderful long weekend at The Island. The villa is clean and comfortable with a fabulous view. The Island amenities are all excellent. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The tennis courts are a nice addition to the property. The owner is easy to access and very quick to respond to requests. This villa is a great place to enjoy the Lake Travis area. I hope to return soon.

  I rented this condo for a quick weekend getaway for myself & fiancee who'd been dying to experience Lake Travis. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed with the appearance and amenities provided. Everything was clean, there are TV's in both the bedroom & living room as well as all items needed for the kitchen were provided. The view overlooking Lake Travis from the large bedroom balcony was amazing to wake up to. The owner also provided excellent instructions on how to access the property. We were able to rent jet skis from the marina which was less than a 3 minute drive from the Lago Vista property. Would definitely recommend renting this condo!

  We had such a great time! This is definately a great place to vacation. I could see myself staying here for a week at a time. The unit was clean. The photos, which look beautiful, don't give this place the justice that it deserves! I have already recomended this place to friends. We will definately be going back.
