Located on the peninsula just a few miles down the road from Cedar Point Amusement Park. This unique modern home was built to maximize the dramatic views of Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay from nearly every room in the house. The key design element of this home was the use of large expanses of glass and windows to frame the stunning waterfront views while allowing abundant natural daylight to illuminate the modern open floor plan.
The main living level has an amazing twenty-four foot wide expanse of glass doors that open from the great room to a deck overlooking the lake. The great room has a large flat screen TV and fireplace, while the deck is complete with a BBQ for your summer meals. The large kitchen was carefully designed and built to have the same great views while being open enough for entertaining or preparing gourmet meals. The kitchen features concrete counters with two food preparation areas, stainless appliances, Kraftmaid® cabinets, and maple flooring.
The top level of the home, which also frames beautiful water views, has two bedrooms and two baths and a large sun-drenched deck that overlooks the lake and the bay. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with private bath including a slate shower and access to the deck. Bedroom 2 has 12 feet of sliding glass doors overlooking Lake Erie, a double bed, and bath with slate shower, and access to the deck.
The 3rd Bedroom, with a set of bunk beds a single bed and a pull out single sleeper, has a TV and its own private bath with shower.
Additionally, this house features a large garage. A small boat/ jet ski ramp at the end of the lane into the bay and has access to the lake.

The owners were very accessible and answered our numerous questions before arriving! We had a wonderfull time as a family which included my sister, brother and his wife and our much loved parents! Every spring we escape to somewhere local, which for the most part has been to Canada to Niagara Falls. This year we thought we would try Lake Erie and the Put in Bay area. The drive was much easier and the house made it great for being together as a family! The only thing that was disappointing is even though you are right on the lake, there is no beach and when we were standing on the rocks across the road we were told that the owners next door owned that piece of property and that it we were not permitted to sit there. I would definitely revisit this area, but maybe next time see if there are any homes with lake front right-aways. Again, let me stress that the home it self was exactly what we were after!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The accommodations were fantastic, able to comfortably house 8 men. Transportation was easy to come by in a form of a taxi ($2 per person each way). The owners are close by so any issues can be resolved quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to get away for a weekend. It would be a great destination for friends, families, couples, and children. Just a quick FYI to guys out there looking to do Fantasy Sports Drafts this is your place. The bar scene was great a lot of good laughs in downtown Sandusky. A couple of golf courses nearby (weather didn’t cooperate for us). Most importantly the internet service was better than any we have ever used (most essential need for us). We intend to make this a regular Drafting location and you can’t beat the one hour drive from Cleveland. Check it out it was worth the price of admission. I have rented several of this owner's properties, but I have to say this one is my favorite (so far of course)! I am not a big fan of contemporary design, but this rental was gorgeous. Beautiful kitchen, spacious bedrooms, great view of Lake Erie. We all were able to relax, unwind, and bring in the New Year with special friends and warm surrounds. We had such a good time and I will definitely be coming back!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Great stay - we booked it as a central meeting place for the family over the holidays. The heated floor kept the place quite warm, the view was beautiful, and everyone had adequate space. I'm sure it's gorgeous in the summer, but it worked great for a winter gathering as well!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

This place is simply awesome. Owners make you feel warm and comfortable. Close cab ride to everything you need. The lake view is what you would expect. We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, modern home. Our stay was in October so the weather was quite chilly. We enjoyed the heated floors! We visited Cedar Point on Saturday for Halloweekends. They were very busy. It started to rain about 3pm. Not a problem for us. we jumped in our car and took the short ride out of Cedar Point's gate back to the house, had dinner and waited out the rain. By the time the rain stopped he crowd had thinned out a bit in the park. We stayed until the park closed at midnight and again only had a couple minute ride back to our vacation home. There were plenty of things in the area to enjoy. We also did some shopping, dining, sight seeing, and visited Seneca Caverns which is about thirty miles from the home. We have absolutely no complaints. We enjoyed our stay 100% and would recommend the home to anyone visiting the area. There are quite a few stairs in the home. Not an issue for us but maybe for some. I would definitely return with the family. A+++++Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Beautiful , modern home on the lake. Wonderful views from all rooms! Only two minutes from Cedar Point. Minutes from restaurants, stores, water parks. Easy check in and check out. Great place for a relaxing time at lake in the beautiful Fall weather.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
