It has a traditional wine country exterior with sophisticated contemporary interior, chef's kitchen, 2 story dining room with adjoining glass fronted wine cellar; living room centered around large stone fireplace with adjacent media room; three large master suites, two of which which have a roof terrace. Solar heated pool and grotto spa; bocce ball court with automatic retrieval; extensive landscaping; barn; vegetable garden and vineyard. Casa Privata offers privacy and tranquility beyond a security gate, yet, with a paved road for the very short 4 minute drive to charming Healdsburg with its re-known fine dining Michelin star restaurants and shopping.
An extensive remodel was done in 2008 and completed in February of 2009. The remodel includes all new Jatoba wood floors, new chef's kitchen with all new appliances, glass fronted wine cellar, hi definition plasma screen TV, large stone fireplace in the living room and wifi inside and out. The second level includes three master suites, all with king size pillow top beds, bathrooms with new sinks, faucets, travertine marble floors and walk in glass showers and new carpets. The swimming pool was redone and upgraded with the latest computer controls and, just adjacent, a bocce court was added with gravity ball return. Outside there is a infrared barbecue and communal redwood table table that seats up to 12 of your guests all under cover of a wisteria covered pergola.

Healdsburg is one our favorite towns in Sonoma County. It has a small town charm, yet is home to Michelin Star restaurants, sophisticated shopping and boutique wineries, so many in fact, that we have not discovered all of them.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Casa Privata is exquisitely furnished and extremely comfortable. During the remodel in 2008 every detail was thoughtfully added to make a stay here a memorable one. Beds are plush pillow top, the chef's kitchen is fully equipped, the vineyard is just a few steps of the house, the gardens are tended weekly and include fruit trees, roses and lavendar. There is a communal redwood picnic table and barbecue adjacent to the large pool and grotto spa. Wireless internet enables you to stay in touch either inside or outside the house. The three master bedrooms offer privacy and tranquility. Each guest is greeted personally by us and after a tour of the house we offer a barrel tasting of our award winning Cabernet Sauvignon. During the barrel tasting we go over the local map and point out the highlights of wineries in the area that many of our guests didn't realize were available. We also offer unlimited tasting of our wine from the barrel using the "thief". One personalized bottle per couple of our Cabernet Sauvignon is included in your stay.
