Aguadilla : Aguadilla, founded in 1775 by Luis de Córdova, is a city located in the northwestern tip of Puerto Rico bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, north of Aguada, and Moca and west of Isabela. Aguadilla is spread over 15 wards and Aguadilla Pueblo (The downtown area and the administrative center of the city). It is a principal city of the Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastián Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Aguadilla has been the recipient of the 'Best Quality of Life Award,' given by the National Mayor Association, in 2002 and 2004. Aguadilla is best known to visitors for its beaches. Aguadilla's most popular surfing beaches include Crash Boat, famous for it's crystal clear waters, Gas Chambers, and Wilderness.
Punta Borinquen Golf Club : This 18-hole, par-72 course was opened in 1940 for the officers of Ramey Air Base. The course is set high on a cliff overlooking the spot where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. There are beautiful views of a lighthouse from the 7th and 8th holes. The course itself is very open with abundant sand traps and a stiff, challenging crosswind. A driving range and practice green are also on-site. The 55 meter elevation offers breathtaking ocean views and sunsets, which provide a true Caribbean style round golf.

We had a lovely time staying in this condominium property. It is a well-appointed 3-bedroom condo, within a short drive to Crash Boat Beach, Aquadilla. My husband, son and I stayed in this unit in July, 2010 for 9 days. The unit is beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the beautiful pools and just sitting on the balcony in the afternoon watching the sunset. We loved the fact that the complex had gated security. We never had to worry about our safety or that something would happen to our rental car. Dinah was fantastic. We arrived very late and she met us at the complex and provided us with all of the local information that we needed. She had soda and chips for us in case we wanted a snack. would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone looking for a place to stay. Dinah informed me that air conditioning is being installed in the living areas. I am excited about that as it was VERY hot during our stay! Can't wait to stay again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We were nervous going into a rental home, you don't always get what you see but this time we did get what we saw on the website and so much more. The views are beautiful, the grounds very pretty and well maintained. The rental home is just like being home with all the amenities you could need. The owner was very personable, very English and Spanish friendly. That helps. We would definitely recommend this place and we would love to go back. They also have the best Horseback riding close by, Walmart is 15 minutes away, a grocery store down the road, and food, food, food.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I travel on july 09 we loved it! It was clean and comfrtable not to mention beautiful. The owners were very nice and out going. The location was great next to beach and rt 2 and airport.I would definetly go again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This place is very clean and really nicely decorated and spacious. The pool area and common areas are very well maintained. We stayed in beg. of October and it was extremely hot and humid so we missed having a/c in the living areas and kitchen. The a/c in the bedrooms was very loud. Other than that we had absolutely no complaints. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to meet us at arrival. Communication was easy and our deposit was returned promptly.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Beautiful home away from home - apartment was immaculate, complete with all possible amenities to make us comfortable and at home. It was also beautifully decorated and made us feel like we were more like at a 5 star resort. The pools and the sunset views were priceless, after sharing our pictures all our friends and family want to go! We got to meet neighbors at the pools, everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The owner, a local resident, was very pleasant to work with, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We'll definitely be repeat customers!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I had the opportunity to stay at this property from August 1 to 7, 2009. It is truly a home away from home. It had everything I would need to enjoy my vacation yet feel that I was still in my own home. The property was stunning and my family enjoyed spending down time relaxing at the two pools. We did have one problem, however - when we left the property and stayed two nights in a hotel in San Juan we all felt home sick from missing our home away from home. As for the owners - the level of attention they provided to ensure that we would be comfortable in their unit was superb. I would gladly return to this property in the future or recommend this property to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Location, layout and ammenities are as described in the ad. Nice layout, top-of-the-line amenities; everything you need for a perfect vacation. Excellent customer service; the owner lives just minutes away and goes out of his way to make your stay just perfect. Very neat, just bring groceries. Some of the best beaches that I've ever seen. I would definitely recommend this place, I was really beautiful, the owners did not skip in any detail to make the property comfortable; the pool and the beach were really close; perfect for my two years old toddler. About the owner: Marcelo and Dinah Emeric reside very close to the property in Puerta Del Mar, insuring that the apartment is in top shape for our guests. Marcelo is a Freemason and a retired US Air Force pilot with thousands of flight hours in jet fighters, helicopters, surveillance and transport planes. An Iraq campaign combat veteran presently working as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for DHS. Dinah is a home-maker, works part-time as substitute teacher and volunteers in several activities such as Wounded Warrior, Military Homecomming and Puerto Rico Air National Guard support groups. Both are bilingual (English and Spanish) and very pro-active to make your dream vacation a reality.
Why the Owner Chose Aguadilla:
We optioned this property during pre-sales of the development, way before construction started. We love the area and plan to remain in the local area after retirement. This is a great location close to many attractions and shopping, although at the same time very relaxing.

Puerta Del Mar is a very exclusive development, spacious apartments, great facilities and beautiful views. The local area is magnificent, many outdoor activities and friendly people.Our apartment in addittion to same ammenities as the rest; includes air conditioning in all areas to include Kitchen, Family and Dining rooms. Also the Family room is a real third room with the addittion of 'Double French Doors' and a folding door in the hallway to convert the family in a bedroom with a futon sofa.
