- The property abuts 17 acres of land trust waterfront. Our private beach is perfect for bon fires at night and picnicing/ swimming during the day. Miles of hiking in the woods or a quick walk to the local markets for coffee is a favorite. There is a secluded wild beach and woods on the left of the house for camping, fishing and kayaking. Stony Creek is home to many architectural delights., esp. the Thimble Islands w/ Victorian homes, and a deep water channel for large boats. Day trips to the NYC or Boston are fun. Ct. Casino's provide world class entertainment and New Haven {Yale} [8miles] has a vibrant soul . Metro North train station has a stop 10 min. from here.. Branford is home to a variety of top restaurants, notable the Petit Cafe ,informal French Family style , originally founded by Jacques Pepin. What great memories to give your children /bon fires on the beach w/ acoustic guitar -shell hunting -sand castles/clam bakes and tidal pools w/ sea ceatures!
Kayaking -bird watching. Egrets,swans,ducks rabbits, foxes and deer all live here.
I have worked for NYC firms in investment banking...Jennifer has an interior design business and also has run an antique shop and a gourmet gelato/ice cream shop.
Our son is a touring musician based in Williamsburg . Our daughter is an international relations specialist -having lived all over the mid-east,she presently resides in Brooklyn .
