Nearby the Greenbrier River offers canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing while the Greenbrier River Trail is designated for biking, hiking, horseback riding and XC skiing. Watoga State Park also borders the Greenbrier river.
The surrounding National Forest and state lands offer excellent hunting, fishing and camping.
