This cottage is available for the first time for the 2009 season after a complete 2009 Spring remodel. It is a very nice 3 BR, 1 Bath private home located on Sand Lake. Sand Lake is a very clean 928 acre lake located close to the town of Stone Lake. Sand Lake is an excellent fishery known for its walleye, musky and pan fish. It is located within a well-maintained group of 4 private homes that share about 400 ft of shoreline. There is a very "kid friendly" sand beach to enjoy and you have your own dock space. The elevation is perfect with no stairs to deal with. The cottage was recently remodeled in the Spring of 2009 with a new kitchen and added deck.
You can also rent a cabin near this one to take care of larger groups. There is a pontoon rental on-site that you may rent as well. Just call the manager, Northwoods Compass for additional details. Northwoods Compass manages over 30 lakefront cabins in the Hayward area. Northwoods Compass has its own website by name which provides all cabin details. They are local and full-time so that you will receive excellent service during your stay.
The Town of Stone Lake is just minutes away so you may conveniently shop at the Co-op grocery store, coffee shop, wine store, laundry,etc. You are centrally located to many of the other Hayward area lakes and there are many, great restaurants nearby. You will not be disappointed with this charming, very clean cottage that is available at a price that is easy on the budget.

There is a nice, shared dock for your boat. You are a little bit off the lake with a lakeview between 2 other cabins. You can also rent a nice pontoon boat from the manager, Northwoods Compass.

A rental pontoon boat is available as well, on-site ready to go. There is a newer wall heating unit in case you need it on those cool nights.

It is only 15 minutes from Hayward.

All rates are based on occupancy of 6 or less.
A 5.5% sales tax applies to all rent
A $250 refundable security deposit is required to reserve.
