We purchased our beautiful 2 BR/2 BA condo in 1999 when the concrete was still being poured. This lovely condo sleeps 6, and is located on the mountain at The Villas at Walton Creek. The Villas at Walton Creek is approximately 23 miles from the Yampa Valley Airport. The Villas are clustered around two private cul-de-sacs, making this lodging option much more like a private residence than a vacation rental.
This unit is very open and bright with nice views of The Headwall, from the private balcony. It is fully equipped with a complete kitchen, dining area, fireplace, two televisions, DVD player, stereo, and washer and dryer, all necessary linens...and hair dryer. The master bedroom, with its connecting master bath, has a queen size bed, and the 2nd bedroom contains two, extra-long single beds. In addition, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
The unit also has a one-car, heated, private garage, mudroom, and plenty of storage space for skis. Located across the street from the free shuttle, it is a five minute bus ride to the base of the mountain and The Silver Bullet Gondola. There is a hot tub on the premises and you are within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment in Ski Time Square.
This unit is not a time-share and has been lovingly cared for and maintained. The Villas are very quiet, as greater than 90% of the units are owner occupied year round.
Steamboat Springs is known for fantastic skiing, hot mineral springs, and a lively Western atmosphere. Shopping, dining, and nightlife are year-round attractions. Winter offers snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and a mountain with more than 100 downhill trails and 20 lifts. Summer offers white-water rafting, championship golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Keith Foster, and more than a million acres of wilderness in Routt National Forest for hiking, horseback riding, biking, and fishing. Sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing are available at nearby Stagecoach Reservoir.

This is a great Condo, very comfortable. Has everything you need. Super clean. Perfect location, bus stop is steps from your door. I loved having a garage, no need to clean off the snow. The owners are warm and friendly; I love the place, and hope to come back next year. Thanks again!

I had stayed here over the winter with a friend and came back with my family to enjoy Steamboat in the summer. This condo fit the bill perfectly. Twin beds for the kids, and a nice master for adults along with 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was nicely equipped. When I was here over the winter I really liked the easy access to the bus up to the ski area. Owner was great; responsive and super nice.
Recommended for:Families with young children, girls getaway.

This Steamboat condo provided the perfect backdrop for our summer vacation! It is very spacious and loving filled with every conceivable need: entertainment, a kitchen filled with every necessary item (including paper towels, soaps, utencils and condiments!) and a washer/dryer set! Its convenient location and access to the bus system is terrific! And the owner is fantastic -- very easy to work with and gave us wonderful dining and activity suggestions as this was our first visit to Steamboat. I highly recommend this condo! Lisa V.
