We purchased a home in this area because it's a quiet,safe, tree lined residential area with very good schools and close proximity to downtown for work and to the beaches and park.

Our children, my husband, and I spent our 3 week summer holiday together. Frederich and Naomi welcomed us in their home with open arms in spite of our lack of English skills and arranged the furniture to accommodate our children. I still remember vividly how Frederich rushed out to greet us with a big smile and a handshake when we arrived. Naomi was very kind, and she took my children blackberry picking and to nature walks through the forest with her sister. Her homemade scones and cakes made with the berries they picked were out of this world. Their house stands in a beautiful setting among the trees and was conveniently located near a bus stop. We had everything we needed including a rice cooker. We can’t thank them enough for making our time in Vancouver a thoroughly enjoyable experience that we will not soon forget.

My husband had a conference to attend at UBC. This location was perfect! It was a short direct drive or short walk to the bus to UBC. The property itself was spacious and charming, with use of the deck and laundry facilities. Naomi and Frederich were charming and very hospitable. The short walk to the plentiful shops and restaurants of Kerrisdale made it possible for me to busy myself during the days without a car. I would stay here again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

My wife and I stayed in the suite for a week 1st May 2010. We found the area to be delightful and very safe. Freidrick and Naomi were very hospitable and went went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Could not have met a nicer couple. Had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here to anyone needing a location close to an excellent transport system.
Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My sister and I were extremely pleased with this suite. It was very comfortable and had all of the amenities. Our hosts were delightful and really went out of their way to make us comfortable and to make everything convenient for us. This suite is also in a lovely, quiet and safe residential neighborhood and seemed quite central to all of the places we wanted to visit. I can't emphasize enough how hospitable our hosts were. We would recommend this suite highly.
