This stunning luxury log cabin is located on 6 privately owned wooded acres with breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley. This luxury log cabin is brand new and completed construction in December, 2008. This luxury rental was built in log cabin style with all top of the line finishing's and furnishings. The main floor of the cabin features the main entrance, access to the huge deck, kitchen, open dining room, great room, powder room, master bedroom/bath and the laundry room. The state of the art kitchen boosts a professional chef’s Wolf Range, Subzero refrigerator, and granite countertops. This large and spacious kitchen is the perfect place for large family meals or relaxing with a glass of wine while making a romantic dinner for two. The large great room with expansive ceilings features sumptuous leather sofas gathered around a large stone gas fireplace and a 60” plasma television. All of the luxurious bathrooms feature cultured marble tiles and granite tops. The main floor of the cabin boasts radiant heated tile & wood floors for perfect year round comfort.
The master bedroom is the perfect couple’s retreat. It features a large, log style king sized bed, 52” flat panel LCD TV, gas fireplace, wine rack, private access to large deck, and gorgeous views of the mountain. The master bathroom is the perfect place to relax with its large Jacuzzi bathtub, radiant heated tile floors, and spacious multi head separate shower.
All bedrooms feature luxurious bedding with 450+ thread count sheets and down comforters with duvets for the perfect night’s sleep.
The main floor also features a huge deck that wraps around the entire rear of the main floor. The deck has plenty of different seating areas; from lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing to a large picnic table. There is also a large JennAir grille for the perfect BBQ.
The lower level of the cabin contains four bedrooms (3 bedrooms with queen bed and one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds) and the Game Room. The Game Room is the quintessential “fun room” complete with 52” flat panel LCD TV, pool table, and plenty of room for relaxing. The lower level also contains a large full bath and all bedrooms feature 32” flat panel LCD TVs.
The upper level contains a spacious loft area which features two queen sleeper sofas. The loft area is open to below where you can peak in on the great room or just enjoy the views of the Mountains outside. There is also a large, full bathroom in the loft as well as an additional bedroom. The loft bedroom features a queen size bed, 32” flat panel LCD TV, and quiet sitting area with another gorgeous view of the Valley and Mountains.

The cabin was comfortable and as beautiful as the pictures showed; was well furnished with everything we needed. We had been concerned about access if it snowed, but there was no problem with our 4 wheel drive cars. We particularly liked the location, near the Park for hiking, and near Massanutten for other outdoor/indoor activities for adults and children. I found the owner difficult to communicate with prior to our rental week, but appreciated her family member who lived close by to respond to us while we were there. We were put off by the cameras that surround the property, altho they explained they were intended for security only.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
