Why the Owner Chose Big Bear City
Big Bear Lake is one of the best places for 4 seasons of fun! We bought our home to enjoy on the week-ends and holdiays, and to give our children as many great memories as possible. Today we enjoy the house as a fulltime vacation rental, having moved up here full time to a horse ranch. This home is located only a few hours away from all the major cities in Southern California, and also really close to Las Vegas, parts of Arizona, and the drive is much closer than Mammoth or Tahoe for skiing, or using the lake in summertime, which is closer than the Colorado River.
The Unique Benefits of this House
While staying at our home you will experience nature to its fullest. We have been sitting our our deck and watched the bald eagles, coyotes, squirrels, jack rabbits and even the occasional black bear ejoy their natural setting. We are within walking distance to Bakers Pond and the Lake, as well as hiking trails off the back of our house, ride a horse, or ride a mountain bike. We are secluded, but also close to all needed amenities.
