We have been at this condo for 9 months so it is now like home to us and really don't want to leave next week. We have enjoyed the spacious rooms with all the comforts of home. The unit looks like it is brand new because it is so well maintained and clean. The decor has inspired us to redecorate our own condo back in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. It was great to walk out and catch a fish or just jump on the boat. The pool, exercise and party room are very well taken care of and very luxurious.The location is close to the airport, shopping, Ringling College of Art and Design, and great restaurants. We had so many favorite places to eat but my favorite is Blue Rooster Restaurant which had Selwyn Birchwood Blues Band (2013 Blues Champions) was AMAZING! We loved Ringling Art Museum. But most of all we felt very safe with such tight security in this gated community. Thank you John and Elaine for helping us with everything so quickly and kindly. We look forward to our next visit. Great place to stay in terms of location/amenities and landlords - John and Elaine are superb to liaise with and nothing is ever an issue. Really comfortable and homely apartment fully equipped with good security. Would highly recommend this unit - very fairly priced and really enjoyable place to live.Did you find this review helpful? Such a lovely condo with all the amenities that one would need. Owners greeted us upon arrival and personally gave us a tour of the building and recreation area. We loved sitting on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. I especially loved watching the train go by from a distance each morning while sipping my coffee and counting the box cars. One will definitely appreciate the locaton and ease of access to the Interstate. Thank you John and Elaine for sharing your lovely home.Owner response: Cheryl and Frank were a very nice couple who stayed with us in early 2011. We are delighted that they enjoyed their winter vacation on the sunny Gulf Coast of Florida.

I rented the condo from the Guthries for multiple months in 2009 while I commuted between Ohio and Florida for a long term business project. The condo was spectacular. It was well equipped, clean, easily accessible, in a gated community, and had great water front views. I selected the condo, based on the proximity to my place of employment and to my family on Long Boat Key. John and Elaine personally greeted me on my arrival to the unit. Everything appeared brand new from the appliances to the furniture. The unit had a great waterfront view. You had sunrise views from the front door, and sunset views over the water from the balcony. The complex had assigned covered parking and a nice fitness center (and pool) directly next door. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. There was an ample supply of dishes, cookwear, and utensils. Everything was in tip top shape and looked new. There were added "nice added touches" such as a plentiful amount of wooden hangers for hanging clothes in the walk-in closets, plush new linens and blankets. They also showed their appreciation for the longer term rental by having a nice bottle of Chardonay chilling in the refrigerator. Throughout my stay, there were no issues at all. I went to work, and went home. I got to know the Mangrove Grille (next door), extremely well and even saw a Space Shuttle launch from the Mangrove Grille outdoor bar.
