We have enjoyed staying in Fish Finder for several years now and it feels like our very own Southern Home. We started there with our parents and now share the experience with our daughter. The fishing, biking, shelling and walks on the beach are a great way to forget the stresses of living in the frozen Tundra.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Nestled at the sunset end of private St. George Island Plantation, adjacent to Bob Sikes Cut and the Gulf of Mexico, Fish Finder is a fisherman's paradise. Every bedroom has a water view and the 3rd/4th floors have great views of the cut and gulf. We like the functionality of the house - a large enclosed garage which keeps fishing gear, boats, and vehicles out of the sea spray - just steps to the cut and gulf for great fishing - convenient places for launching kayaks and other small boats - nice wide screened and unscreened decks - a top deck that is perfect for star gazing - and a refreshing pool that is a nice break after a day at the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We've been going to Fish Finder annually for about a decade or more. We love the location, view, and feeling of owning the beach in the off season. The fishing is phenomenal year-round, and it's the only place where we have seen dolphins daily. It's the cure to the daily grind.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

we rented Fish Finder the week Ike visited Houston, waves were awesome! Fish Finder is a great house, pool is a nice added feature. House is very roomy. Really good view for a beachside property. We will for sure be at Fish Finder again!Owner response: THANKS, WE'LL LEAVE THE LIGHT ON FOR YA!:)

We chose to buy a home to live in this area, we were not looking for a vacation rental, when we had kids we decided to move across the bay to apalachicola 'on the mainland' mainly for schools and activities. We then started to rent our island home.
