Built on three acres of land, Villa Blanc is situated at the end of a private road leading to a secluded & tranquil location adjacent to the picturesque golden sand beach of Agios Sostis. There is a private pathway to access the beach, literally two minutes stroll away, while the port and main village of the island is only a five minute drive away. Amazing panoramic sea views.
Villa Blanc is an architectural gem blending harmoniously with the natural landscape and fusing the traditional Cycladic style of white washed & stone cube shapes with the minimalism of “less is more”. This large (4000 sq ft – 6 bedroom) holiday villa offers the ultimate in Zen luxury for those seeking a simpler, more relaxed and carefree vacation lifestyle.
Accommodation Details
The property faces East – Southeast and it is brilliantly spread across one axis parallel to the sea front so that all areas of the house have endless panoramic vistas of the azure & turquoise waters of the Aegean. Aside from the white & sand shades of the house, a matte olive green color is predominant on the French doors, window panels, and most movable pieces of furniture of the Villa.
The Villa can be accessed independently from two levels (Main Level & Guest House Level). At either level, all inside spaces are connected to outside areas (verandas, terraces) so that guests may constantly enjoy the pleasures of outside living and the colors, smells and sounds of the Mediterranean summer.
Main Level
The main entrance of the house leads into a pergola shaded patio connecting the “bedroom unit” on the left with the “living unit” (sitting areas, dining areas, and kitchen) on the right. The bedroom unit consists of 3 bedrooms (master suite and 2 junior suites) all complete with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and private balconies connected to the verandas and terraces of the villa.
The Master suite is split level and features a built-in King size bed, while the Junior suites feature two built-in beds (Queen size & single) arranged in a L shape.
The living unit comprises a spacious sitting area with two large built-in sofas arranged in an L shape, a dining area that accommodates 8 people, a second split level sitting area with two built-in sofas facing one another, and a fully equipped kitchen connected to a pantry. The dining and kitchen area lead to a pergola covered terrace with a built-in sofa and a large dining table (which seats 12) for al-fresco dining. An outdoor staircase leads from the terrace downstairs to the Guest House level of the villa.
Guest House Level
The Guest House level consists of 2 master suites with en-suite bathrooms and king size beds directly connected to the large downstairs terrace of the villa. The 2 suites can be interconnected via a wooden door in the middle. A third bedroom with one double bed and a separate bathroom is accessible from the suites via a corridor passage that leads into the back of the villa. If required, this room can serve as quarters for live-in staff.
Also, to the rear of the villa there is an appropriately equipped playing area for children and a large storage area with shelving. The storage area connects with the Main Level of the villa via an outdoor staircase at the back of the house.

Local Area
The Villa is only 4 km away from the port of Livadi on a crescent shaped bay. The sea front board walk at Livadi offers a choice of restaurants, lounge bars and coffee shops, while several grocery stores, bakeries, butchers, fruit shops and a pharmacy are within walking distance from one another. Hora – the “capital” town of Serifos is a 10 minute car drive up the hill from Livadi. Hora is topped by the ruins of a 15th century Venetian Castle. A stroll through the winding streets of Hora with its cube-shaped houses will let you discover chapels and windmills perched precariously and offering breathtaking views of the island.
The coastline of the island offers a diversity of easily accessible sandy beaches (Kalo Ambeli, Ganema, Vagia, Agios Sostis -where the villa is located, Psili Ammos, Ag. Ioanis, Sikamia). For those interested in hiking and exploring, there are several marked hiking paths which allow an inland discovery of the island with its many villages and monasteries. In the north of the island near the village of Galani, the fortified monastery Moni Taxiarchon (Archangel), built in 1500, is run by a single monk. The monastery contains fine 15th century frescoes and rare Byzantine manuscripts.
Directions: By air to the international airport in Athens and then by High Speed ferry to the island (2.5 hrs).
