This beautiful home is leased through June of 2012. Please keep us in mind for future vacation rental stays at Eagle Crest Resort. Desert Valley Views by day, City Lights and Stars by night. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath architecturally unique home was built in 2007, located in Highland Park on the ridge at Eagle Crest Resort and offers a wonderful vacation experience. Soaring windows and open floor plan allow you to soak in the gorgeous views of the valley and buttes in the distance. This is the perfect place for family vacations, personal retreats, quilters visiting the renowned Sister's Quilting Show, golfers, horseback riders, outdoor enthusiasts and more!
Beautiful yet comfortably furnished with lots of casual reading material, games, and tournament-sized Ping-Pong table for rousing competitions. We also offer free Wi-Fi for our guests. Each of the beds features a pillow top mattress and fluffy pillows for a great night's rest. Soothe your aches in the master bath soaking tub or visit one of the resorts many outdoor hot tubs and spa. There are two bedrooms upstairs both with King size beds and 2 full bathrooms. There is a main floor bedroom with a Queen Pillow Top Bed and 1/2 bath.
Central air conditioning for hot summer days and for winter there is a gas fireplace in the living room with oversized reading chair next to it, although everyone usually ends up taking a nap there! A large deck off the living room gives you access to outdoor space where you'll enjoy a gas BBQ, patio table and chairs. There are also lounge chairs for summer sun tanning.
A 10 minute walk to the Lakeside Sports Center with gym, locker rooms, swimming pool, hot tub, fabulous kids water park and basketball and tennis courts, the walking/bike path is located at the end of our street. The resort also offers three golf courses and (weather-permitting), year-round golf. Or take off in any direction by car for fly fishing, white water rafting, hiking, lava cave explorations, horseback riding, the High Desert Museum and restaurants, pubs and shopping. Just 15-20 minutes to Sisters, 15 minutes to Bend, 45 minutes to Hoodoo Ski Area and 50 minutes to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort area (travel times will vary with traffic).

- No Pets Allowed : We love pets and have our own but sadly have had a couple of bad incidents with guests and non-housebroken dogs. This home has new carpet but is not a pet free home as we do bring our two (very) small dogs with us. The home is regularly cleaned but if you have severe pet allergies to dogs please be advised.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : Renter must be at least 25 years of age or older and understand that this is a family home and neighborhood with year-round residents. Loud parties or otherwise disruptive activities aren't allowed.
- Smoking Not Allowed : This is high desert and can be tinder dry year-round. Please do not smoke in or around the homes. NO FIREWORKS!

Why the Owner Chose Eagle Crest
Hello fellow travelers. We bought our home as a getaway from the rain and drizzle in the Portland area. With about 300 days of sunshine, the high desert has always been one of our favorite destinations. We love hiking, skiing, biking, playing golf, fishing, white water rafting and all of the other glorious things to do in this wonderful region. You can travel in any direction and find something fun and exciting or restful and relaxing to do.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Eagle Crest, located just outside of Redmond enjoys a bit of a banana belt climate getting much less snow then the surrounding Sisters/Bend/Sunriver locations. This means a lot more days out of the year for golfing, walking, biking and any other outdoor activities you want to enjoy. The resort has three recreation centers that offer gyms, indoor basketball courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs, activities for kids and so much more.
Enjoy the wonderful Lakeside Recreational facility located just a 7-10 minute walk from our home. Summer swimming, year-round gym and outdoor hot tub, tennis and basketball courts and bikes for rent. Snack Shack in the summer with tasty treats including snow cones! Kids of all ages will love this very fun place to be.
Access to the walking/bike path is at the end of our street. A 7-10 minute walk up the path takes you right to the Lakeside Recreation Center with outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, basketball court and tennis courts.

We come to this place to relax, rejuvinate and reconnect with family and friends. We love the high desert and spend wonderful and adventurous family time here. We're very happy to be able to share it with VRBO travelers. One of our favorite summer activities is to go rafting on the Deschutes River. The attached photo is one of our family rafting through Big Eddy. Skiing, Snow Boarding and tubing are great winter activities with Hoodoo Ski area about 40 minutes from our home and Mt. Bachelor about 50 minutes. You will truly enjoy the beauty and peace of this special place. We welcome you to our high desert get-away.
