My family rented this apartment for one week at the end of August 2010. Our holiday was fantastic. The views from the apartment and the balconys are exceptional with an initerupted view accross the whole bay including views of the castle, the harbour and the old town. The apartment is very comfortable with facilities to dine inside and outside. Excellent airconditioning (which you need in August!) The equipment (cooker, washer/dryer, fridge etc) were all in very good condition. The apartment was clean when we arrived and the agent in Antibes was very helpful and even arranged pick up from the airport and a car to take us back again. The apartment has a garage but we didn't use it as the station is just at the end of the road and from there you can get trains along a beautiful costal railway to Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Grasse and even into Italy - there is no necessity for a car. The apartment is right in the heart of Antibes with a large number of very good restaurants in the town and there a couple of beaches within walking distance. The nearest is the public beach by the harbour which is clean, sandy and well maintained. A little further walk will take you to a private beach (royal beach) were you can hire sunbeds and have a beautfully cooked lunch in the restaurant. All in all it was a relaxing holiday made very special by having such a beautiful balcony to sit on whilst we had our breakfast, coffee, dinner or evening drinks!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
