Numerous day use recreation areas are within a mile or less of this home. The pines village offers conveniences such as a grocery store, shopping, gift shops, and antiques, gas, dining, boat and ski rentals.
Along the south shore you will find Miller's landing, which has a full line of boat and personal watercraft rentals along with soda fountain, great hamburgers and grocery store. Also on the south shore is The Forks, which also offers a small grocery store, cafe and boat rentals.
Bass Lake is located on the southern edge of Yosemite National Park. Our elevation is approximately 3500 feet. Bass Lake offers year-round outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming and horseback riding. There are three golf courses nearby. Winter enthusiasts may enjoy sownhill and cross country skiing at Badger Pass in Yosemite. Oakhurst offers numerous restaurants, shops, Met Cinema Theater and two major supermarkets. The Chukanski Casino & Resort is located in coarsegold, about 30 minutes south of Bass Lake.
Take a day and visit spectacular Yosemite national Park, the south entrance is only 20 minutes from Bass Lake on Highway 41.
