Welcome to our Deep Creek Lake Vacation Home!
Our log home has 3 finished floors that are cozy, yet offers individual privacy. The two gas fireplaces are beautiful in the winter months, without the hassles and dirt of real firewood. The home provides all of the necessary amenities for a great vacation but feels like a rustic mountain retreat should.
In the winter, we enjoy snowboarding and downhill skiing at the Wisp Ski & Golf Resort which gets tons of natural snow. Our home is just a few miles away from the Wisp on well maintained Garrett County roads. Four-wheel drive is a good idea no matter where you are in the mountains… BUT… it is not necessary.
In the summer, we have a boat slip on Deep Creek Lake that is available for your boat (bring a boat if you have one) or a rental boat. Boat rentals are available at Bill's Marina and Deep Creek Marina. Our family spends numerous days hanging out by the boat slip, swimming/fishing/relaxing in the sun. The house is located close to the Deep Creek Lake State Park beach area and less than a 15 minute drive from Swallow Falls State Park.
The spacious, partially covered deck provides sun or shade when needed. It is a great place to read a book, drink a glass of wine and share a meal. Don't forget about the professionally managed hot tub which seats 6 – it’s a great way to end the day.

My husband and I love the Deep Creek area. We wanted to share it with his parents who had never been there. When we arrived, I was shocked to see that the house has no views despite what was advertised on this site at the time. In addition, the house was covered in cobwebs (inside and out), dirty (there was hair on the floor in the upstairs bedroom and cigarette butts on the deck), had no linens (as we were told there would be by the property management company) and no toilet paper. The furniture was cheap, dirty and uncomfortable. The beds were so uncomfortable that no one could sleep through the night. When I contacted the owner to complain, when we first arrived, I was only aware of the lack of views, linens, and toilet paper, and the cobwebs that were so thick in the beams and on the chandelier it looked like Halloween decorations. He apologized said that he doesn't provide paper products or linens and said that he would send the cleaning lady back. He did allow us to use the owner's closet linens and offered us another night's stay for free. We ended up leaving a day early because we were so uncomfortable. We contacted him when we got home and he agreed to refund half our money. That was in September and I still haven't seen a check.

My family along with two others rented this home on 8/2/11 and loved it. We had six adults and five children with us and plenty of room! Upon arrival I needed to contact the owner with a few questions and he was wonderful! All questions were answered and he even called back to see if we were enjoying the trip. This rental has it all...hot tub, fire pit, boat dock and lots of room! This is the perfect place to relax, get away from it all and enjoy friends and family! I cant wait to go back!!
