My girlfriend and I wanted a getaway from the NYC area so we decided to stay in the beautiful Lake George area. We couldn't have been happier with the Apartment, it was everything the reviews said and looked just like it does in the photos. Pat and Mike are very nice and will answer any questions you might have. You have your off-street parking in the center of a nice little town. The place was very clean and probably perfect for 2 couples although it was just us- the only problem might be sharing a bathroom but other than that there is plenty of space. A clean kitchen (sometimes refrigerators smell- this place was spotless), 2 clean nice sized bedrooms with TVs in each and a nice living area with a small flat-screen TV. Since the weather wasn't so nice when we went (Weekend of October 28) we didn't get to enjoy the screened in porch or the backyard which looked really nice! I would definitely recommend this place especially in the Summer since the Lake George area is a Summer town, a lot of restaurants were closed for the season, and there just wasn't much to do- no boat tours, too cold to do anything in water, etc. Your best bet if you go at this time of year would be to just enjoy the Bolton Landing area most places within walking distance were still open OR if it's not going to be raining go to The Great Escape for Fright Fest or the Adirondack Extreme Course- the only reason we didn't go was because it was raining. I am hoping to return next Summer. Lake George is a short approx. 10 minute drive away
Owner response:We very much appreciate all of the wonderful reviews our guests have left. Our goal is to make each and every guest feel as comfortable as possible and to help in any way we can to make their stay with us a memorable one. Just to clarify, the Village of Lake George is just a 10 minute drive, but the lake itself is directly across the street.

We rented Pat's apartment for the weekend and had a fantastic stay. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The Adirondack decor was charming and gives the place a lot of character. We also loved the location and appreciated being close to so many restaurants and cute shops. Being able to walk to everything was a definite plus! There are also a lot of different hikes within a short driving distance. Pat and her husband could not have been more helpful or pleasant. They were a great resource for local dining and activities. They were very accessible to us though never imposing. I also want to give Pat a huge thank you for her help in returning a necklace that I accidentally left behind in her apartment. It was a very valuable necklace to me and Pat was extremely kind in mailing it back to me so promptly. Thank you so much Pat!!

My husband and I spent a weekend in this charming rustic apartment in the middle of the delightful town of Bolton Landing. The apartment was immaculate and decorated in a rustic style with lots of nice touches and many creature comforts you don't find in hotels. There was plenty of room to stow things, a great little kitchen, 3 TV's, comfortable furniture. The owners were friendly, solicitious or our comfort and very helpful. I have been coming to this area for the past 40 years, and this is the nicest place I have ever stayed up here, by far. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. A wholehearted recommendation!

We were looking for an appropriate rental for a long week-end that would accomodate four persons ranging in age from 74 to 6. This charming, well kept, very clean apartment met all of our needs. The location was ideal. We were just a very short walk to the lovely town beach which was perfect for keeping an active 6 year old grand-daughter happy. The fenced in back yard was an ideal spot for late afternoon drinks and snacks and a safe area for playing board games and catch. Restaurants, the grocery store, ice-cream shops, and deli's are all conveniently close by. My husband and I enjoyed early morning coffee on the upstairs screened-in balcony and we appreciated the relative privacy afforded by being the only tenants on site. It was such a nice change from the comparative busy-ness of traditional "cabin-colonies." Pat and Mike are both charming, friendly, helpful and willing to meet any challenge or answer any questions we presented them. In just a few short days we could comfortably feel they were friends. Pat returned our security deposit promptly. This accomodation is a sure sign of the owner's integrity and it was very much appreciated. We heartily reccomend this VRBO and we hope to return.

I found this property on VRBO for my husband and his friends to visit Americade last year. They liked it so much that two of them brought their wives along this year, knowing it would be quite suitable for us. Sometimes, we ladies roamed the nearby shops while the guys rode their cycles. It was so easy to walk across the street or down the block to several nice restaurants and shops, and we enjoyed looking through Mike and Pat's shops, too! The apartment is very clean with generously-sized rooms. We also liked sitting in the private rear yard around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and talking the night away. Lake George Village is just a 15-20 minute drive and there's so much to see and do between Bolton Landing and the village. The only negative comment would be that it can be somewhat difficult for 5 adults to share one bathroom. It would probably be easier with one family unit - parents with children. Thanks, Mike and Pat, for a great time in your lovely apartment.

I might not have rented this place, had it not been for the other reviews. The price seemed almost too good to be true. Now, I want to add my kudos to Pat and Mike for offering their charming, roomy apartment above their antique shop for visitors to Bolton Landing. We walked downstairs and across the street this morning for a delicious dinner and just down the block this morning for an equally yummy breakfast. Being right in town we enjoy hearing the church bells and being able to stroll out for a meal or a necessary mid-vacation stroll to the laundromat. We're visiting with old college friends and especially enjoy chatting on the screened porch and around the table in the comfortably equipped kitchen. It's just a delightful place and we're glad we found it.

We enjoyed staying in this warm and cozy apartment over the Thanksgiving holiday. While it was snowing outside, we were curled up on the comfortable couch watching football on the nice TV. It was very quiet, and Pat and Mike responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is in a great location, right in the heart of downtown Bolton and within easy walking distance to our favorite shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend it!

What a wonderful place! I was just married in September at The Sagamore Resort and wanted a nice place to get ready for my wedding without being in the hectic element of the resort. This was perfect and less then two miles away! I couldn’t have asked for more, with the quiet cozy atmosphere I was able to fully relax while preparing for the most special day. The beautiful Adirondack décor made the perfect backdrop for my getting ready shots indoors and outdoor when the limo arrived to pick me up! Pat & Mike were truly wonderful hosts. This is the perfect place for a bride and groom, parents, or anyone!!

Four adults stayed here for Labor Day weekend & loved it!! Pat & Mike were friendly & accommodating. This apt. is immaculate and well-equipped. Private parking was a plus on such a busy weekend. The best part was walking to everything!! Pat was right- we loved Bolton Landing much more than Lake George Village. We tried every restaurant we could- each one was great. Just ask Pat & Mike for recommendations. The beautiful park, marina, beach(Lake George) right across the street- so beautiful! I would absolutely recommend this apt. to friends. We can't wait to return!
