We were fortunate enough to enjoy one of the spectacular sunsets on Friday evening. I have seen some gorgeous sunsets in the Keys, coastal California and Europe, but they would be hard pressed to compete with what we saw locally. It was really breathtaking!

We had a wonderful two weeks. Your house is beautiful. It felt like the first time renting down here because we experienced things for the first time this year. What a beautiful home you have. All the extras, such as beach items, bikes, etc. made it even more enjoyable. I loved the quiet bay, but if you wanted noise and excitement all you had to do was leave The Cove. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

"Marcia: We enjoyed your house immensely. As I wrote in your guest book, it was the best of the houses we rented in the last 5 years. The view of the bay lingers..And I miss the laughing gull and heron. We enjoyed renting a pontoon boat and the eco tour at the Indian River State Park, as well as a little miniature golf, biking, the pool and the beach....a perfect family get-together from Baltimore, Austin and Albuquerque."

Beautiful house on a perfect lot. The wildlife and the sunsets are to die for! The home is interestingly decorated and you are always noticing something else. One drawback was that dispite Steve (owner) trying to help over the phone, we were not able to get the internet connection going. The pool and tennis/basketball court are superb! The walk to the beach was a little long for some of my family members though. Be very careful crossing the 4 lane road to access the beach. I felt like I was in a game of Frogger! We loved the quiet walks on the beach and even saw a whale feeding. This was a first for us. We have vacationed up and down the coast and this was our first trip to Bethany and we really did enjoy it. Steve and Marcia are very easy to deal with...real professionals.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

-The perfect house for our very active family of teenagers to reconnect. It was wonderful for us to see the boys spending "countless" housrs fishing off the point (without even a bite) or just playing cards all night long. The ocean, across the street was what we came for....The view amazing. Your home is beautiful, thank you for sharing it with us.

The vacation was terrific and we enjoyed the stay at Waters Edge. Your online description was complete and we brought all the right items. You did not mention that bird lovers should remember their binoculars as the birdwatching was exceptional. Only complaint - a week is too short!

Dear Plotkins - We had such a wonderful time and think you for the wine! The accommodations were so grand Including the short walk to the sand. We spent the week in Bethany celebrating my mother's 80th birthday! 25 of us in 4 different houses (The other 3 in Sea Break where my brother lives). We enjoyed 2 meals here in your well equipped kitchen. Beautiful sunsets and views. We had great weather. Our only problems were quickly overcome by your help. Marcia & Steve, We had a great time. Our micro-family reunion was excellent. Jill and I and our kids (Zack & Karli) were host to my wife's parents; her brother's family for various parts of the week. We got to hear my youngest brother on guitar and my kids met some of their cousins for the first time including my brother's 1 year old twins. The weather was beautiful up until Friday, when we had a great thunderstorm mid-day. It cleared up for us so we could end the vacation with dinner on the deck at the Rusty Rudder.
