The owner emailed me three days before our arrival and said she mistakenly rented her downstairs unit to a winter tenant in the middle of our rental week and she wanted us to move to her upstairs unit. With such a short timeframe until our travel date, I accepted the arrangement. The downstairs unit had very used furniture, but was acceptable. It had a washer/dryer and dishwasher. There were no basics such as dishwashing liquid or toilet paper. Towels and sheets were clean, but old and stained. The quilts were stained and not clean. The location was beautiful, really perfect. The move to the upstairs unit in the middle of the vacation was inconvenient. Upstairs was small, not enough chairs to sit and eat together inside. The furniture was not appealing and I did not want to sit on the upholstered chair or sofa at all. The picnic table outside was splintery. There was no washer/dryer upstairs and no dish washer. The unit smelled stale and was full of personal items from the owner and her family. This arrangement turned out to be unsatisfactory and definitely affected the vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
