Ready to enjoy some much needed peace and quiet? This quaint cottage on beautiful Lake Martin is the place for you. This is a 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen is perfect for cooking with all stainless appliances and granite countertops. After you’re finished with dinner get cozy on the couch and enjoy the flat screen tv or light the gas fireplace. This home has a great open floor plan perfect for large groups, but with the master upstairs and the two other bedrooms downstairs it is a great place for couples or a family.
There are two balconies with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the views of the lake. One is accessed through the living room or the master bedroom. There is another outdoor entertaining area on the lower floor. The home has a stationary dock as well as a floating dock and stairs to help you get into the water. You can also take a dip in the neighborhood pool if you’re not up to swimming in the lake. If swimming isn’t in your plans, bring some chairs down and enjoy being on an area without much boat traffic so it’s just you and the lake.
This home is conveniently located to many cities. It is only an hour from Montgomery, 1 ½ hours from Birmingham, or 2 hours from Atlanta. It is also only 30 minutes from Auburn which makes this a great place to spend a football weekend.
Bring your own food to dine in or enjoy some of the nearby restaurants such as Niffer’s or Sinclair’s . Want to bring a boat? Put in at Chuck’s Marina and take a short ride to the dock at the house.
