This renovated two bedroom/two bath condominium is located in the heart of Sun Valley at the base of Dollar Mountain in the Snowcreek condominium complex. The grounds of the complex have been beautifully landscaped and has a pool, jacuzzi and recreation room on site. The condominium itself was totally renovated during the Winter of 2012. The renovation included new hardwood and carpeted floors, paint throughout, stainless steel kitchen appliances, marble bathrooms, mattresses and beds, lighting and furniture. While the entrance is on the ground floor the entire condo is located on the second floor and has 15' high ceilings in the living area. This unit is a corner unit and is very quiet. The floor plan is convenient with the kitchen, living room and dining area all open. The two bedrooms have king size beds with bathrooms attached. The kitchen has every amenity you need. Stocking service is available. THE SEVENTH NIGHT IS FREE WHEN BOOKING A ONE WEEK STAY (except for the Christmas holidays).
This small and beautifully maintained complex is unbeatable. During the Summer this condominium can be the base for great adventures in every direction. The historic Sun Valley Lodge is only a 10 minute walk. The town of Ketchum is one mile away. Within the valley you can fly fish, bike, hike, paraglide, trap shoot, ride horseback, attend outdoor concerts and gallery openings, and ice skate. During the winter months you have two great ski mountains to choose from with Dollar Mountain directly outside your front door. There are also 200 km of groomed cross country ski trails. You can also take a horse drawn sleigh to Trail Creek Cabin for dinner. Bus service to The Lodge, Mt. Baldy and Ketchum is free and available at the Dollar Mountain Lodge.

If you are interested in a very nice, PERFECTLY located, affordable place to stay, you've just found it. We travel to Sun Valley annually for a snowboarding tournament. We have stayed in multiple hotels that were nice(no complaints), but plan to rent from Karen every year from now on. Friends who stopped by on the way to the event for a drink or to visit between runs(because it is closer to the ski lift than half of the parking spaces) could not believe the price we paid as they were further down the road and had paid almost double. The home is quite spacious with two king beds with private bathrooms. The living area was our favorite!!! Plenty of room to sprawl out and the fireplace was to DIE FOR! Free wifi, ski hooks at the entrance, comfy beds... like I said, we will return. I like to know where I am staying prior to arriving(to avoid unpleasant surprises) and from looking at the map I had underestimated how close this is to Dollar Mountain. It is only 500ft from the base lift and lodge, however, with the arrangement of the buildings, it is completely secluded from the traffic and people at the resort. Families will also enjoy the skating rink that is walking distance just across the street. My only hesitation in being honest about Karen's place is that I don't want anyone reserving our weekend next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

My husband & I had a pleasant stay in this condo! It was well maintained, very clean, comfortable and quiet! Also well equip with all the amenities and all the comforts of home! The condo development was very well kept and in a great location close to attractions, restaurants and activities! The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions and concerns. We highly recommend this condo for a pleasurable stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Lovely place to stay for two couples on a weekend getaway. Well stocked, very clean, comfortable surrounds, and cozier than the pictures convey. Owner was very easy to work with. We will stay again and would definitely recommend to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

About the owner: I have owned this condo since 1995 and have loved every minute I have stayed here. Because I use it so much I treat it as a home and not a rental. For this reason the condo is decorated and stocked as a private home would be. It is very comfortable and inviting. I smile every time I come in the door.
Why the Owner Chose Sun Valley:
The Snowcreek condominiums are very unique. It is one of the few complexes with it's own pool and hot tub. The Resident Manager and condominium owners take pride in their homes here and as a result make sure that the landscaping is updated every year and that the complex always looks inviting. The condo association is always updating the buildings, putting on a fresh coat of paint, planting new flowers and grass, and generally keeping the place looking gorgeous.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
In the Summer I love to hike and there are so many hikes in the area it is sometimes hard to decide where to go. Just outside the door is Dollar Mountain which makes a great hike first thing in the morning to wake you up. Only mile away is the Proctor Mountain loop where you can see all of Sun Valley and Ketchum from the top. A couple of miles away is Adams Gulch with miles of trails. The mountain biking is also unbelievable. Of course in the Winter it is all about skiing. Baldy is a fantastic ski mountain with lots of steep, fast skiing and no lift lines. It is a great combination enabling you ski thousands of vertical feet and makes you really appreciate that beer at the end of the day. There is also amazing cross country skiing all over the valley. Just North of Ketchum is Galena which has dozens of trails. They offer rentals and lessons for beginners and runs like Psycho for the more advanced. And again, after a few hours of skiing you can go into the lodge where they have a great restaurant and pour very tasty beers.
