We had a wonderful time in the mountain cabin for the weekend scrapbooking with girls! We did not leave the cabin for four days and we had everything that we needed! It is so spacious and it the perfect getaway! We enjoyed nature and all the added touches in the cabin. A great place to re-charge your battery! Looking forward to our next trip-planning a Fall trip! This is a great place to stay as it is close to the entrance at Bent Tree! EXCEPTIONAL!

Cozy cabin that is a great getaway

We stayed for a few days in January that were rainy and cold. The cabin was very warm and cozy with everything we needed. When it wasn't raining we saw 4 turkey's and a few deer. The house was very comfortable for a winter stay and I would definitely stay again. The owner is wonderful to work with and our stay was perfect. We were only two staying there but the house could be a great place for a group because of all the beds and baths. Thanks for letting us use your home.

very comfy, pretty, 'livable' cottage

really enjoyed our time at this large, comfy, very livable cabin. went hiking, played games around the roaring (although propane) stone fireplace, and watched the wild turkey and deer frequently meander through the yard. very nice stay and very reasonable. very pet friendly too!

Awesome Getaway

It was such an amazing experience to be able to stay in such a cody and relaxing home. Not to mention the security provided by Bent Tree. I enjoyed waking up in the morning an seeing deers and turkeys walk through the yard, it was facinating. We truly enjoyed staying for a week and plan to return for two weeks next year. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent Choice

We had a fantastic long weekend at the cabin. We needed a central place for family from Florida, West Virginia and Alabama to meet and this was a great choice. The cabin has a great layout for multiple families. The way the bathrooms are laid out is deceiving -- very convenient to have a half bath in each of the three downstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed the pool, stables and beach area, as well as the chance to get up close to deer and turkey. Everyone was really friendly. We will definitely rent again when looking in the area. Oh, and the price beats a hotel or B&B any day!

Stayed at this property on June 7th and June 8th. Very roomy and the owner was superb in taking care of several details for my group and myself. The location is fabulous as it is easy to get to and from the front gate and the resort amenities. The house was VERY clean and well decorated. Comfortable beds and furnishings await you when you rent this property. I will definitely be renting this house again in the future if it is available.

Great Place to Stay

We choose this house as a location for our stay due to our son's wedding reception being held in the community. This home was an excellent choice for us and our family due to the the number of guests we had joining us. It was a great house and lived up to its description and listed amenities. Clean, well-kept with amazing rooms and a great screened front porch for sitting in evenings and drinking coffee in the morning. Everyone in our family was thrilled with the house. Even had some local visitors, including a young black bear in the backyard. Plenty to do with a golf course, lake, etc. without leaving the community. Would highly recommend this property to anyone

I'll start by saying that the owner was an absolute love to deal with! From the first inquire throughout our entire stay until the prompt return of our security deposit. I strongly feel that what I saw online was what I got...for the first time in our 5 years of yearly trips, this is the first Cabin I want to come back to! The cabin: it's a comfortable drive in and out of the cabin even in the snow. It was clean, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens. Three spacious bedrooms on first level with private 1/2 baths in each. And a great master bedroom upstairs with mountain views. The Bent Tree community: The cabin is a quick car ride to the Golf Course, Clubhouse, Tennis courts, hiking area, lake and dog park. Yes a dog park ( for large and small dogs) in the community! Our boys enjoyed playing with many friendly locals. Plus when it snowed they cleaned the roads almost immediately. Things to do: (Aside from the things in the community) Stone Mountain is a great amusement park to visit. It's in Atlanta ( less that an hour drive) but worth it. Ruby Falls is a bit further but a nice experience as well. Additional info: We stayed the month of December 2011 and enjoyed a few days of snow, families of deer in the front and back yard and Turkey watching. Funny little creatures...they actually gobble gobble.

Great family trip!

We wanted to spend some time as a family and we chose this cabin because it was near our daughter. The cabin was all that it was said to be. There was plenty of room for everyone. My daughter had to arrive earlier than we did and it was really great to have the security of a gated community. The owner even took the time to give my daughter directions when she got lost. We were able to rest (which is what we really needed) and go antiquing in the local town. Our dogs were also very comfortable. There was plenty of room for them to walk around and the screen porch was a great place for them to see the local wildlife without being too close. My son was able to climb the mountain behind the house and build a lean-to out of branches and leaves. We were only at the cabin for a short time but we were very happy we chose to go. My thanks again to the owner (Janice) for letting us have a great family weekend.

Convenient Autumn Mountain Retreat

The cabin was everything advertised and more! It exceeded our expectations. There were more supplies available than any condo my husband and I have ever found in rentals from Hawaii to California to S. Carolina! Our dog enjoyed the new dog park daily. The trails around the lake were awesome, including water falls. Very picturesque. We enjoyed the wild turkeys and deer and chipmunks that visited the yard each day. The people who live in the Bent Tree Community were all warm and welcoming. We enjoyed antique shopping in the area as well as eating at Crusts (more than once during the week). We had our morning coffee on the front porch each day of the week. Everything was sparkling clean. Will definitely think about returning in the future. It felt like home from the first moment. When visiting other family members who had rented in the area, we felt blessed that 'our' cabin was convenient and that the driveway was NOT too steep. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone planning to visit the N. Georgia Mountains.

Wonderful house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and large screen porch!

This home was wonderful. The layout was perfect for our 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids. Because 2 of the bedrooms had twin beds, it was perfect for the 2 boys in one room and the 2 girls in the other room. The other 2 bedrooms had large comfortable queen sized beds. It was also nice that all of the bedrooms either had a full or 1/2 bath. The dining room table was spacious and the den was open. The best feature was the screen porch with a swing and several rocking chairs. It was so relaxing to enjoy rocking or swing bug free. While enjoying the porch, we observed a family of 4 LARGE turkeys wandering through the yard on two mornings. The home was well stocked with games and movies and the horse shoe pit was great entertainment. There is also plenty of parking! We will definitely stay here again.

Great Rental Choice!

We were very pleased with our choice of this Bent Tree home for a family gathering. Amenities are nearby, the home is near the entrance gate, and the bedroom/bath arrangement downstairs is very comfortable for multiple guests. The owner was very helpful in answering questions ahead of time, and provided a notebook that described hiking trails, restaurants, local shopping, etc. This property has plenty of cooking utensils, bath supplies and a handy laundry room to hang bathing suits and beach towels. We enjoyed eating and playing cards at the dining table and had fun times sitting on the screened porch. Many thanks for sharing your home!!

Our family stayed at this lovely home in Bent Tree for a family reunion in July. The house is immaculate with a great porch and living area and very comfortable beds. We had a terrific time....even saw a mother black bear and 2 cubs! We would definitely stay here again.

The layout is great for large groups. Each bedroom downstairs has its own half bath with a shared tub down the hall. The setting is nice and everything is provided to ensure a great stay. It's clean and well cared for. Location within the community is good, not too far from front gate and amenities.
