Beautiful view of the ocean,the pier,and the beach from the condo. Every room has an ocean view! It's just so relaxing !!

Carolina Beach and the surrounding area, has a little something for everyone. 30 minutes away is downtown historic Wilmington. History dating from the colonial days, with the Cotton Exchange, right up to the USS NC Battleship. Downtown gas a great river walk, and lots of antiques, and shopping available. Check out Cape Fear Museum, there is a Michael Jordan exhibit there, along with a history of our area. Nearby Fort Fisher, has beautiful beaches, the old civil war grounds, and a Civil War Museum . Enough history? Be sure to check out the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. It has a 2 story aquarium, look sharks right in the eye.

Also be sure to take a ride on the ferry over to historic Southport. One of the oldest towns on the east coast. Carolina Beach has lots of shopping, and dining. Also check out our lake. There is paddle boating, a great walking path, and don't forget Sunday Movie night. It's like a drive in with lawn chairs.

Every Thursday night, there are fireworks on the Boardwalk. Be sure to try Britt's Donuts on the Boardwalk (Billy Graham's favorite). Carolina Beach has something happening,all summer long

                                    Fishing pier only 2 blocks away. Also North End of beach only 3 block drive away. North End is only doggie friendly beach during the summer months. You can drive your 4 wheel drive vehicle on the beach, for a fee. North end is only pet friendly beach on the island. Pets must be on leash. North end only a 2 block walk from condo Fishing charters available. Also big marina, where the big charter boats come in, and show off the catches of the day. Fireworks every Thursday, and family movie night every Sunday at the lake. Like a drive in with lawn chairs.                                     Small but VERY clean condo. Nice location. Nice deck to watch sunrise/sunset. First floor-convenient. Nice roomy garage to store your things-we took our daughters bike. I liked to cook in the kitchen while watching the boats in the ocean! That was nice. Quiet after vacationers left after july 4th! Very nice pool for the kids. Walk to freeman park. Oceanfront. Convenient parking. Great price. I would return.

                                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
