Beautiful condo on Tybee Island. This third floor unit has a large balcony that overlooks the pool, hot tub, and cabana area.

It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The master suite contains a king bed, a television, access to the balcony, and a private bathroom. The master bath has dual sinks, a garden tub, and a separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a television. It offers a glimpse of the ocean. The third bedroom contains two sets of bunk beds which are perfect for children.

There is a large family room and a kitchen with everything that you need. There is a stereo, cable TV, a playstation and wi-fi internet for your use.

We are in the beach block and only about 150 yards from the shore. There is a boardwalk over the sand dunes, which makes for an easy walk to the beach. The condo is also within walking distance of the public fishing pier, shopping and restaurants.

Not so good of a weekend

Let me preface this letter and tell you that I have stayed at the brass rail at least 4 other times besides this time and have never had one complaint. We recently stayed for a three night weekend. I was immediately concerned with the huge stains in the master bedroom and the bedroom with the bunk beds. It was nasty. The bed in the master bedroom was by far the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. My husband and I could not sleep on the mattress. My husband even spent one of the nights on the couch. I woke up each am hurting from the mattress. The second thing that was disturbing was the amount of mosquitoes in the condo. They were everywhere. I don’t know if the door was left open for an extended amount of time or what but we spent a lot of time killing mosquitoes the first day. This is not healthy and to be honest with you a little dangerous because of the deceases they carry. At one time we moved the couch over a bit and it was filthy underneath. The maids need to clean a little better in between renters. The door latch to go out into the porch was broken and fell on my daughter’s foot and left a huge bruise. I know the weather can not be helped but I did want to mention that we lost power one night due to a storm and was without air for 5 hours. The elevator was out for the next day. I know that this can not be helped however it did contribute to the weekends overall success. I am not asking for anything in return for this feedback, however I do want you to know that if you are going to rent out this condo you might want to check up on the above mentioned items.

Owner response:I was sorry to hear about Angela's problems with the unit. In five years of renting, this is the first negative feedback of any type that I have ever received. After reading her email, I immediately scheduled a carpet cleaning and sent the handyman to look at the door. I also asked the maids to clean under the couch more thoroughly. That is certainly an important area that they should not overlook . Once the summer season ends, I will make a determination if new bedding is needed. Hopefully, it may be something simple, perhaps removing a small obstruction between the box springs and the mattress. As to her other issues, they are out of my realm of control. The only way that mosquitoes can enter the unit is if someone staying there left a door or window open. As to the power being out, I am afraid that everyone is at the mercy of the weather. These comments are not taken lightly. Every effort is made to insure that a guest's stay is as pleasant as possible. I wish Angela good luck in finding a unit that meets her exacting standards.

A very pleasant place to stay.

I've spent a couple of short vacations at this condo and hope to go back again. The property is always very clean and is in like new condition. The beach is literally a couple of minutes away (walking) and the condo's reserved parking spaces make searching for and paying for parking a non-event (otherwise, parking at Tybee is an expensive headache, believe me). Condo comfortably sleeps 8-10 and has great bathroom facilities, and the large living room and balcony provide plenty of space for eating and just hanging out. Tybee's restaurants are a short walk away, but the kitchen in this condo is so well equipped and nicely appointed that it's quite enjoyable to cook at home. You can eat on the balcony and enjoy the view of the pool. Condo has wifi and elevator access and the owner is easy to deal with. This place has become my place to stay when I'm at Tybee.
