This home is beautifully maintained! The owners are very nice and helpful. We brought our children with us and they had a blast running around the property! We enjoyed waking to the sounds of birds and finding an occasional deer. Definitely would recommend to family and friends and will likely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We will be returning next year. This was an amazing vacation first and foremost because of the house. Panoramic views situated on a stately property with a pond. The habitat included red-winged blackbirds, deer and a family of the sweetest muskrats. It felt like a David Attenborough nature program. Receptive owners. Everything you would need for a great Block Island vacation. Book now!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We recently stayed here with our family and we highly recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay in a "home away from home". This home is impeccably clean, breezy throughout (i think we ran the fan once), comfortable furnishings, open, bright and airy. The house is in a wonderful location; close enough to walk or bike to town, yet situated far away enough for complete privacy. The grounds are impeccably beautiful as well; the spralling backyard to the beautiful gardens. Gorgeous front porch to spend your lazy afternoon after the beach or gaze at the stars on the back porch into the wee evening hours. Whatever you choose to do here, know that you will feel very comfortable and want to book your vaccation next year before you ever even leave!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan and Peter's lovely farm house. It had absolutely everything we needed and was a great place to entertain for the week. The grounds are well-kept, the breezes refreshing and the views simply lovely, especially the beautiful sunrises. The location turned out to be very good and a quick and easy walk/bike ride into town or to lighthouse and Mohegan Bluffs. As an artist I found the natural light and cheerfulness of the home to be particularly inspiring. It's the kind of place you want to hangout in compared to those places that you only use for sleeping. Our thanks to our hosts. We hope to be back again some day.Did you find this review helpful?
