As a guest you are entitled to a discount on golfing at select local golf courses. Annie Laurie can also provide guests with a personal chef, airline chartering, and concierge services.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you will relax as you go back in time in an atmosphere of whimsy and delight: "themed" bedrooms, huge living room/kitchen, two master suites, and splendid porches. From the observation deck you have a commanding 360-degree view of the ocean and six barrier islands.

This spacious, beach cottage is located next to the Old Coast Guard Station in exclusive Coast Cottages, a neo-classical settlement with many amenities: oceanside pool and pavilion, brick streets, custom landscaping, and friendly neighbors. Enjoy St. Simons' sailing, fishing, championship golf courses, kayaking, marsh tours, and antique shows.

Annie Laurie is within walking or biking distance from great restaurants, super shopping, interesting historical sites, and the quaint village of St. Simons. But the island has a complete up-to-date list of things to do: horseback riding, antiqueing, over 200 holes of golf, a water park on nearby Jekyll Island, scuba diving, museums and nationally recognized historic sites to visit--what more could you ask for in a vacation spot? And after your day of activities, visit one of the many fine restaurants for local dishes and spectacular creations prepared by the finest chefs in the state.

Annie Laurie - an Old-Style Beach House to Create New Memories

Honeymoon Heaven

Our wonderful honeymoon was spent at this Beautiful Romantic house located about 10 steps from the Beach and the two private swimming pools for this little community. Everything in the house was just perfect; from the front porch to the Widows Walk, what a lovely house, beautifully decorated and with much imagination. With too many wow factors to mention, no expense has been spared thru out the house to ensure your vacation will be fun, relaxing and certainly most enjoyable. (After 6 hours spent on Cumberland Island pedaling a bicycle, the Jacuzzi in the Master Bathroom was pure heaven)! My husband and I would like to say that we would more than recommend a trip to the Annie Laurie. You will have the time of your life! We certainly did and now my whole family are wanting to vacation at the Annie Laurie as soon as they can!

This was our second vacation at Coast Cottages and the location on St. Simons coupled with the pools and beach access is perfect - especially if you have kids. However, we will choose a different cottage next time. We arrived and the cottage was filthy, including food and dirt under the couches that clearly collected over several visits. With little ones crawling around this was simply unacceptable. In addition, all the TVs had terrible reception so relaxing in front of the tv or finding something for the kids to watch after a long day on the beach was not an option. There were several bulbs burned out in the living area and many other issues that made it evident the home is not well cared for. We highly recommend Coast Cottages, however, we suggest you choose a different cottage. We feel we paid a lot of money for substandard accommodations. Overall we still had a wonderful vacation - the only blemish was Annie Laurie Cottage.

Owner response:I am the owner of Annie Laurie Cottage. I have a rental agent who is handling the cottage rentals. After checking with the agent, she reports that these renters did not contact her or anyone else at her office about any problems during their stay. Had they done so, the issues would have been addressed immediately--the cleaning service would have returned to clean and to replace any light bulbs that were out (there are also bulbs at the cottage that the renters had access to had they been resourceful enough to look), and the cable company would have been contacted to make any repairs necessary to restore proper service. I cannot imagine why the renters would have suffered in silence when help was only a phone call away. My agent reports that these renters told of their complaints at the time of checkout. The cable repairs and bulb replacements were done for the next renters, as well as a thorough cleaning. Bottom line: these renters did not take any action or make any requests of the rental agent during their stay, and have only themselves to blame if they were not comfortable. If it was that bad, why not request to be moved to other accomodations?

We had a wonderful time at your Annie Laurie Cottage--it was absolutely beautiful. We felt like the "Royal Family". The girls had the time of their lives! Everyone loved the deck on top--I could just go on and on! Thank you so much for sharing such a lovely cottage. Oh--the sunrise from the master bedroom was so beautiful each morning.
