Year Purchased: 1980
About the owner: I have brought my love for English gardens to my house in Nantucket. It is enchanting to watch the children play in the yard while I serve up clams and lobster on one of the two patios. We have had many a magical evening at this house. This no nonsense house with wide plank beautiful wood floors is cheerful and perfect for a large family. I can only hope that you cherish it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Nantucket Town:
We never chose to use this house as a vacation rental but times are difficult and we are ready to rent it to responsible, wonderful family's.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
In the evenings we walk with the fire flys at night toward the pond or stay at the beach until the sky is dark and have a clambake. The children love to pick the wild blueberries and raspberries when they are not riding their bikes to and from the beach. They can be independent as they fish in the pond or jump off the sand dunes.
When we are in the mood, we can bike to a family beach nearby and buy desert from the ice cream truck. If we are not in the mood for crowds we stay right where we are and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
