Relax and enjoy a wonderful stay in this new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in the quiet and peaceful gated community of Sabal Trace, North Port, Florida. This first floor 1,168 sq. ft. unit is located within the "Colony" development, and has spacious and bright rooms which provide an open and airy atmosphere. Sabal Trace was constructed in 2006 as a 188 unit gated community and is adjacent to Sabal Trace Golf and Country Club. This is a brand new unit that has never been used before 2009.
The master bedroom, decorated in craftsman style, includes a king sized bed, 32" LCD TV, main walk-in closet, 2 additional shelved smaller closets, as well as walk-in shower in the ensuite. The second bedroom contains a queen sized bed, classic highboy dresser, standard closet and is adjacent to the second bathroom equipped with full bath tub.
The fully equipped kitchen boasts upgrades including oak cabinets, granite countertop and built-in microwave. This area overlooks the open concept dining and living room, with 9 foot ceilings and a wall to wall window/sliding door combination accessing the lanai. A craftsman-influenced dining set with padded seats and warm wood tones which seats 6 is adjacent to the kitchen.
The focal point of the living room is a new 37" LCD TV, mounted on a solid walnut sofa table. The deep brown corduroy sofas add to the earthy and classic atmosphere.
A den is outfitted with a desk and sleeper sofa, perfect for the grandchildren when they visit! A screened-in lanai offers a view of the pond with night-lit fountain and can be enjoyed during any season, at any time of day. The unit includes a garage with automatic door opener, and front porch which enjoys the afternoon sun.
The condo is equipped with a land line which includes free calling anywhere in US and Canada, cable TV with HD digital channels, and FIOS high speed internet. Wireless internet access is also available poolside.
The on-site lap pool is 22 yards in length for avid swimmers, located no more than 200 yards from the unit. For further fitness opportunity, a beautiful walking/biking path starts right at the entrance and is approximately 8 miles in length. The local YMCA is also very conveniently located within 500 yards of the entrance to the development, and offers fitness room, pool, etc. Adjacent to the YMCA are two tennis courts.
The activity center is available to all and includes a common room with kitchen, games room equipped with pool table, library and fitness center.
For baseball lovers, the Tampa Bay Rays' spring training camp is conveniently located within an approximate 15 minute drive of the condo in the newly refurbished Charlotte Sports Park. Naturally, golfing is readily available both on site as well as nearby courses including the renowned Heron Creek Golf & CC.
North Port is readily accessible from airports including Fort Myers and Sarasota. Area shopping and restaurants are plentiful in Port Charlotte, Sarasota and Venice, all within a 10-20 minute drive.
