We live in the twin cities area in Minnesota so we REALLY enjoy our vacation getaway to beautiful Scottsdale Arizona. This was our first vacation home we purchased and since then we have purchased three others, (two more that we rent out). We have two small children and one teenager and this IS our 4-5 times a year getaway. Scottsdale and this home seems to offer a little bit of everything.
Why the Owner Chose Troon North
I lived in Arizona for almost 18 years most of it spent in Scottsdale and I fell in love with the GREAT location and open feel of this home! It is wonderful for a family yet cozy and quiet for a couple and the setting is AMAZING with city light views for miles. This home is a best kept secret with its soaring ceilings, incredible views, in a beautiful and quiet gated community, yet it is minutes away from fabulous shopping, dining, and just a quick trip to the 101 freeway.
The Unique Benefits of this House
While staying at this home make sure you plan a visit north to Cave Creek to enjoy a little bit of the old wild west and their local brewery. The chili beer is GREAT!! And don't forget that you are in the "heart" of golf country and hiking abound. If you go about 4 miles south you should try the five star dining and the boutique shopping and if you are an animal lover like us and want try out your horse riding skills, check out Macdonalds Farm for trail rides, pony rides and a petting zoo for the kids, and outdoor barbecues. FUN!!!

We stayed here for a Week in February and we could not have been more impressed. The house was even better than the pictures and the description. We could not have had a better place to stay. No matter what we needed it was already in the house. Would rent again! Great place to stay and we had a Great time. The Patio was amazing for the Scottsdale Night Views! A Dream place to stay!!! Pool area and Hot Tub were always clean and perfect.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

This is beautiful home and better than the vrbo description. It was VERY well stocked and the owners are very accomodating. We had a great time and would definately rent this home again.

Great Place!!!!! Stayed the week of Mar. 15th / 09. Home is beautiful and nicely decorated. We found this home to have ample space and very enjoyable. The views from deck are great and better in the evening. All amenities we provided. Very quite community. Enjoyed our time there and would like to thank Laurie & Keith. Hope to stay again....
