We stayed in here the end of September and had a wonderful time. The condo is very nice and had everything we needed. Couldn't ask for anything more. Room is very up to date and clean. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks George!!!

My family and I had a fabulous vacation staying at Getsy's Getaway. The suite and the resort were very clean. We really loved not having to worry about keys for our room. The keypad was excellent. Our room had everything we needed for a great stay with a fully equipped kitchen. The weather was excellent for the week that we stayed. It did rain a couple of nights but the sun was bright and shining all day. We enjoyed a luau on the lawn Monday evening an also enjoyed the daily afternoon music. The pools were very clean and it was nice to see security walking around at night checking things out. Staff were very polite and helpful. While we were there we visited Broadway on the Beach (one of our favorite places) Some of our family enjoyed a day of golf while others enjoyed a day at the Nascar Park. The food was superb at the cypress room and reasonably priced. Loved walking around the quiet neighborhood and the stores weren't far off for shopping. We always love coming to Myrtle Beach but this year we were very pleased with our room and the resort. We had other family members staying on the seventh floor and we are all looking forward to returning this resort next summer. We had easy access to the parking garage on the 5th floor while loading and unloading our luggage. We didn't take advantage of the internet system on the HDTV but the kids brought their laptops so it worked out ok. I always bring ;our easy up canopy for down at the beach but it was very nice of you to offer your beach chairs and umbrella. Thank You for a fabulous suite and a Great vacation. The website description and photos were very accurate, The owner was very polite,helpful, and quickly responded to all my emails. I would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at George's condo . My family and I loved the area and the location of the Island Vista Resort. Because this property is surrounded by single family homes, not other condo's, we practically had our stretch of the beach to ourselves!! George made everything very easy for us and was great to rent from. We will definitely return to the area and rent from George!!!

George, We had such a wonderful time! We swam, golfed, walked on the beach. Thank you for renting the chairs on the beach too!! This vacation was just what we needed!! I wanted to book for next year but the school does not have a calendar for next year, so I will keep in touch with you. We enjoyed both cooking in and eating out at 'Mr. Fish' and 'Michael's Pizza & Pasta Grill'. Your suite was beautiful and the view was amazing! Thanks again, George, it was wonderful! I have never been to either of those restaurants. I thought the beach chairs would be a nice touch...no lugging chairs, etc. down to the beach. This is a little bit of heaven on earth ... it's appearance, it's cleanliness, the lock free entry - and those wonderful rocking chairs bordering the ocean. We would, and have, recommended this property to many of our friends - we keep telling them, they don;t know what they are missing by not visiting Island Vista!!!

Southern Comfort!

This is our second year staying at this property in this unit and we can't say enough about it. Booking the unit and correspondence with George, the owner, could not have been any easier. It was neat and clean upon arrival and everything was as promised - no surprises. It's a beuatiful unit with a direct ocean view from the living room and the master bedroom. Added extra's like reserved beach chairs, a beach umbrella, flat screen TVs, internet access, etc are an added bonus. The property itself has a great location and is well maintained. We'd definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it to all.

This property was exactly as advertised. My wife and I have stayed at this resort numerous times and this unit had by far, the best floor plan layout. Booking this property was extremely easy and George answered all of our questions accurately and quickly. A comprehensive pre-arrival check in package was provided. Checking in and setting up the keypad codes was a breeze. The condo was obviously well kept and was perfectly clean upon our arrival. Would not hesitate to recommend this resort, and in particular, this unit. Location is great. Will definitely return, hopefully for two weeks next year! Thanks again George.

April 12 - 17, 2010. Thank you George for sharing Island Vista 507 with us. It is everything expected and more. The beds were comfortable, the view fabulous, plenty of high end linens, all the kitchen appliances/utensils available. Island Vista is our favorite Myrtle Beach destination and this condo is top of the line. All communications concerning renting the condo were prompt and efficient as well as the calls while we were there to check if everything was OK. We just returned from our trip down South on Sunday April 18 and our deposit refund check arrived today (04/20)!. Thanks again!!!!!!!

We were just there - March 19-23Reservations/Check in: Reserving this condo was the easiest we have ever done! George answered all of my questions promptly and was so gracious. Check in is AWESOME as there is no check in. Keyless entry to the condo is so convenient (my 3 year old could punch in the code by the time we left!). CONDO: The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. There are no trinkets which is nice -- nothing for little fingers to break. The floors were very clean -- we all came home with our white socks - WHITE! The kitchen was stocked and ready to go. Amenities: We liked the pools and hotel ammenities. My family went to breakfast every morning! They had closed the outdoor pools and the 0 entry indoor pool for tile maintenance. Thankfully they did leave the lazy river open.Weather: Our first two days were sunny and warm with cold nights. 3rd day it was cloudy and cool. 4th day it was sunny and cool. We didn't care! MB: All of our favorite places had 0 wait times (Carolina Roadhouse, Drunken Jacks and Tripps). Crocodile Rocks at Broadway was a highlight. My daughter got to ride all of the rides at Broadway with very little wait. It was just overall a great time.Thank you George! :)

Just returned from staying the month of Feb. at Island Vista #507. What a great condo! It is warm, cozy and the view is spectacular from the balcony. The 5th floor location so convenient - no need to take the elevator to your car. The weather was cool 40's - high 50's but sunny most days. Was able to swim in the outside pool which was heated to 88 degrees. What a treat! Played lots of golf. Would do a month again in a heartbeat! Thanks George for your hospitality and attention to detail. We'll be back.

We stayed Island Vista for the week of Christmas. We were a bit concerned that shops wouldn't be open, but they were. It was not crowded, and the weather was is in the high 50's low 60's. The condo was awesome, views fantastic! We cooked most of our meals while in Myrtle Beach..and the condo has all the gadgets you need. Plus I wanted to pack the beds up in my suitcase, they were so comfortable. George thank you for sharing your home with us....pools were awesome. I was able to swim in the outdoor pool and indoor pools. Kids will love the lazy river!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Island Vista - your condo is so warm and comfortable ... we loved seeing the ocean so close and listen to the waves pounding the shore - had some wonderful walks - the keyless entry is fantastic .. a great asset to the place. We stayed the week of Oct. 10-Oct.17. The place was beautiful. We arrived a little early and yet we found the place available and cleaned. The condo is well maintained and has everything you need to make yourself at home.George was so nice to work with. He even called to make sure that everything was going well. I would definetly recommend this condo, it is everything that it is described to be. the parking garage is a little tight so watch out. but the grounds are beautiful and we loved the rocking chairs on the porch over looking the ocean, and the keyless entry made our stay so much easier than keeping up with room keys. thanks again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Myrtle Beach this past August (09) and largley because of this wonderful condo at Island Vista!!! Upon arriving I knew that we were going to love it. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, looking like brand new, we had more room than we needed, convenient parking on the same floor (made unpacking and packing SO much easier) and a great view of the ocean. And I'd personlly like to thank our host for being so helpful to us in our arrangements. We plan on coming back to rent this unit in the future for sure! LOVED IT!!!...no complaints!

This was our family's second consecutive year at Island Vista Resort. We really enjoyed staying at suite #507 which is on the 5th floor. Parking in the garage on the 5th level makes it convenient for unloading and is also a few steps away from the elevators. Nice and easy.The unit is decorated beautifully, very clean and has all the comforts of home. The keyless entry is awesome, no reason to carry keys to the beach. The landlord is concerned with your stay and phoned us twice to make sure everything was OK. Will definitely stay there again when traveling to Myrtle Beach.

We stayed 2 weeks ( june 27th- july 11th, 09 ) at the Island Vista with our 3 boys ( 9,11 and 14 ) and we truly enjoyed our stay and the impeccable and fully furnished and comfortable unit. We loved it with the master bedroom facing the ocean and to be able to see the waves when we woke up. We truly enjoyed the practicality of the same level parking and keyless entry. The boys loved the sunless grotto pool with their basketball daily matches. The owner George is a breeze to deal with, always concerned to our every needs and requests. We would definitly go back and stay at this condo in Myrtle Beach, SC.

We stayed in condo the week of June 13-20, 2009. Had a great time. The condo is 5th floor, center of building. You can park on level 5 and walk straight to condo, which is great for unloading, etc. Condo linens and towels are very nice, and has great electronics. Wireless connection gets slow when lots of folks are using it. Be sure and partake in the Island Vista poolside buffet. For the money, it was great. Go down early and get a shady spot on the tanning lawn! If you eat out often, get ready to spend some big bucks! Have fun, and thanks for letting us share the condo last week!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and the balcony ocean view was wonderful. The furnishings and amenities were all in excellent condition, looking brand new. We liked the fact that the beach is less crowded here because it's next to private homes and not surrounded by hotels. I would highly recommend this condo and will stay here again when returning to Myrtle Beach.

We stayed in this condo in June 2009. Our family loved every part of it. We thought that the owners were PERFECT and we had no unexpected surprises. The condo was exactly like they described and maybe even better. We loved the key pad on the door as we didn't have to keep up with a key while enjoying the many pools. Our children loved all of the pools and the location of the condo was perfect in regards to others in Myrtle Beach. The staff at the condo was all friendly and nice and the pools were cleaned daily. Parking was a little cramped at times but we never really had a problem. Overall the expeirence was great and the owner of the condo was very prompt in responding to us on all inquiries. Great condo and great experience. We will definitely be returning to this resort and especially this specific condo.

We stayed at the Island Vista in May 2009. The condo was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the three pools and the two hot tubs. We would definitely go again had a great time.

I stayed at the Island Vista in May of 2008 and had a great experience. The condo is gorgeous; you can look out the window right at the beach. All of the amenities within the resort were fantastic. We had a great time in the pools/hot tubs and enjoyed the restaurant and Tiki-Bar located directly downstairs. The condo was very private; you are able to park right down the hall and walk directly to your door with luggage. We also really enjoyed the location of the Island Vista... It is very centrally located to the nicer areas of Myrtle Beach. We will certainly be staying in this condo again... the intreior rooms are very spacious, including a full kitchen as well as laundry, 2 large bathrooms, etc. The beach is directly out the window of the master bedroom and living room balcony. You can literally hear the ocean waves from inside the Suite. NO Complaints... Awesome vacation rental!!

This was our family's first trip to Myrtle Beach. The Island Vista is beautiful. Your unit was awesome, very clean, and had everything we could ever need. Great pools and literally, right on the beach! We will definitely be contacting you to go back!
