This was the first time we ever rented a home for a vacation and boy were we impressed. My husband has family in this area, which sparked our visit. They came over for our sons birthday party and there was plenty of room, and plenty of trees to choose from to hang the pinata :) Also, we came to ride motocross tracks in Alabama. You cannot ride dirtbikes in Michigan in the winter :) The lake was at an all time low--which we thought would be disappointing but we were still able to take the kayak out and explore. My 6 year old son enjoyed walking the shore and finding "treasures" that had been covered with water for who knows how long, and lots and lots of shells. The pictures for this listing should be updated--the couches are new and better then the ones pictured. Also, there are actually two sets of bunkbeds to choose from now, which the kids liked having a choice. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and all the dishes we needed were available. The screened in porch was really nice too. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area or looking for a good vacation getaway. We hope to stay again!

We had a great time, caught lots of fish, up to 15 lbs. Hybrids, Striper, and Cat fish. Enjoyed fishing the first Three hrs. after sunrise, eating Brunch, ahhh….. then taking a nice Two hour nap. After the nap back on the water skiing, tubing, and riding, then into the hot tub and grilling dinner. We will be back!!!!!! Thanks, from the Parker Family EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.............

We just spent a month at the lake house and believe me, it was not long enough. This house is everything they say it is, and more. You can lie in bed in the morning and watch the sun come up over the lake, and you can sit in the hot tub and watch the sun set over the trees. The house is very comfortable and has everything one could want. The privacy is second to none. Chrissy and Kevin are most helpful with anything that you might need. The activity possibilities are endless, from hiking, fishing, boating, and site-seeing to culture. LaGrange is a really great small town environment. Our only problem was we liked the house so much that we never made it out to do many of the things that we had planned, so we already booked another vacation there to take care of this problem. If you are looking for the bright lights of big city activity, this is not it. However, if you want the most relaxing and tranquil vacation you will ever experience, this is the place. And book it for as long as you can. You will not want to leave. We have rented many vacation homes in various places, and this is by far among the best.

We just spent one of the most relaxing weeks in this wonderful lakehouse. This lakehouse has everything imaginable to offer guests including one of the most fantastic views of west point lake. Chrissy and Kevin were very kind hosts and welcomed us with open arms. The house is very spacious and the screened in porch is the nicest I have seen. We will be booking here again in the future.

The home is big, beautiful, impeccably furnished and the Spoorer's are gracious hosts. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for the birthday dinner we prepared for our family and the other rooms were comfortable, spacious and perfect for our family (including the grand kids). The location made it easy for us to dock a boat for late night fishing. The Spoorer's made sure that we had great directions to all shopping, restaurants and marina. We had a four star stay and a great time in this house, we're already planning our next trip!
