Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) Non-Smoking, fourth floor condo with fantastic ocean view from bedroom, living room, kitchen, and lanai. Relax on the lanai while watching the palms trees wave in the breeze and the whales and windsurfers dance. The Kauhale Makai Resort includes a sparkling tile pool, Jacuzzi, kiddy pool, putting green, shuffle board, and volleyball court. Our guests are welcome to use the public tennis courts located steps south of Kauhale Makai. There is nothing between the resort and the beach except for a large grassy area sprinkled with palm trees - no road to cross! This beachside condo is confortable, convienient and Fully-Equipped. King-size bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, and a sofa-sleeper in the living room. No stairs to climb... Handy to the elevator (but not too close), CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING (ask before you rent elsewhere). Walk along the beach to downtown Kihei for shopping and restaurants, or to the Pacific Whale Foundation's outpost for viewing whales in season (Mid December to Mid May). Less then ten miles to Kahului Airport. Central to most everything on the island of Maui including all the best beaches.
