Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) Non-Smoking, fourth floor condo with fantastic ocean view from bedroom, living room, kitchen, and lanai. Relax on the lanai while watching the palms trees wave in the breeze and the whales and windsurfers dance.
The Kauhale Makai Resort includes a sparkling tile pool, Jacuzzi, kiddy pool, putting green, shuffle board, and volleyball court. Our guests are welcome to use the public tennis courts located steps south of Kauhale Makai. There is nothing between the resort and the beach except for a large grassy area sprinkled with palm trees - no road to cross!
This beachside condo is confortable, convienient and Fully-Equipped. NOW WITH HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS!!! King-size bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, and a sofa-sleeper in the living room. No stairs to climb... Handy to the elevator (but not too close), CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING (ask before you rent elsewhere).
Walk along the beach to downtown Kihei for shopping and restaurants, or to the Pacific Whale Foundation's outpost for viewing whales in season (Mid December to Mid May). Less then ten miles to Kahului Airport. Central to most everything on the island of Maui including all the best beaches.

Just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful condo! Very relaxing for all of us, and no worries with the accommodations: everyone was very nice and very helpful (even taking custody of the beach towels we accidentally left poolside until we realized they were missing and inquired at the office!) We will tell everyone what a spectacular time we had ~~ Mahalo! Maybe we'll stay again sometime!

Naturally our vacation condo has a written guest book filled with comments. It may be quite a project to actually type in all the comments into the web site. The consensus is – everybody has a great time. It seems that this condo is equally popular with both families and honeymooning couples. A highlight was when the Swedish Ski Team stayed there after the Winter Olympics (no, they did not trash the place). The condo is also very popular with Japanese visitors, and it is fun for us to have our Japanese friends read these visitors’ comments to us. Hope that your stay will be pleasant and restful.
