Comfortable, relaxing, and filled with charm

We rented this entire house for a 4 day getaway birthday party. We were a party of six couples. The house lends itself to multiple couples as most of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The antiques compliment the style of the home. But there's nothing antique about the kitchen! It is a top-notch cook's dream-fully equipped with quality appliances. Plus there is a nice yard for all kinds of outdoor fun. The manager of the property met us when we arrived and went over details that we should know. She was accomodating to some of our unique requests and was accessible by phone if we needed her. The house is within walking distance from a couple of wineries (but it's a hike up a big hill to get to the main road!) It does have waterfront property that also requires a hike down lots of steps but it's worth the trip! The canoe and kayaks are fun. Two firepits and the wrap around porch made meals lots of fun. We had a blast!

Absolutely gorgeous

We had an absolutely blissful weekend here in June. The house is on a large, rolling lot with a pretty view, and it's a long but doable walk to the lake. Even on a rainy day, the house is really idyllic - we sat on the porch and watched it rain. It's a short drive to several wineries, and you can kayak in the lake. There's a fire pit out back if you're interested in making stores. The proprietess was very thoughtful and kind. It's a beautiful, spacious property and very charming. Lots of antiques, so it's probably not ideal for pets or children. Still, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Bed & Breakfast was beautiful and very warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was there, including beautiful sunsets and sunrises. A group of my friends and I stayed during December - it was a wonderful mini-vacation. Very close to the wineries, which made for a fun weekend! Thanks Maureen! I hope to be back next year!

The house was perfect for our Rehersal Dinner. We prepared all the food there for about 65 people and with the porch and large lawn there was plenty of room. We stayed for a full week and enjoyed the quiet beauty of the lake house.

We just had a family reunion at the Lake House B&B for 16 people. We had a fantastic time - beautiful home, the porch is excellent for spending time in a quiet atmosphere and the large yard is great for games. Would recommend renting both the Lake House and Cottage for large groups as they have very different flavors that compliment each other - one rustic adventure with a view, the other casual elegance. Highly recommended.
