What an awesome week. We felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. The boats where great and my 6 year old hooked a 2 plus pound rainbow trout from the row boat. We where able to see Elk, over 12 deer, goats, and all kinds of birds. The dogs loved it too. We even took a hike to one of the best hot springs I have ever been to. Awesome!!! trip for my family of four plus two dogs.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This trip was like living out a fairytale! I was enchanted by the surrounding forest and lake setting, and the charming decor of the cabin. If you are looking for a way to get real close to nature, and do not enjoy the discomforts of camping, this dariling hide away is just the right thing. It has all the amenities needed to feel right at home. Plenty of hiking, biking and nature watching opportinities...and quite, peacful, and private! The owners are also very helpful, available when needed.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Cabin was a great space for a small family or couple . It was cozy and quaint, private and well-supplied. We were able to let our dog indoors and out on the property. It was only a short walk down to the lake and we were able to canoe and walk toe dog in the "neighborhood". The drive in was beautiful and there was a ton of outdoor activities nearby to take advantage of. We had a great weekend, and staying in this great little cabin made it all the better!Owner response: So glad you enjoyed yourselves! Canoeing on Williams Lake is great. If you have any suggestions about things we can add or change that would make your stay even more enjoyable, please email me. Thanks so much. Roberta and Tom

What a great place to get away! The cabin was clean, very well-equipped, and isolated. We spent much of our vacation just sitting on the front porch reading and drinking coffee. Tom came by the first day to see if we needed anything. The whole area is beautiful. We had a great hike to Goldbug Hot Springs and just driving along the Salmon was a real treat. We borrowed the kayak and explored the lake. We've already recommended this cabin to our friends. We'd like to come back. What a great, relaxing vacation!Owner response: So glad you enjoyed yourselves and were able to recharge yourselves at our cabin! We look forward to your next visit. Thanks for telling your friends about us.

We enjoyed our honeymoon retreat at the Williams Lake cabin. The cabin was so well taken care of, and Roberta and Tom were very kind. We enjoyed taking the rowboat out on the lake, and the scenery was just breathtaking. For a good view of the lake, try the South Creek Trail. We had a lot of fun just driving around in the "backcountry" area, the roads go all over the place and are completely traversable, even with a non-four-wheel-drive vehicle. The cabin was completely secluded and very peaceful, just what we were looking for!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Wow, wow, wow, every detail is in place from the ice chest to the antlers, this is the true frontier cozy cottage. As we drove up the winding driveway, enjoying the views, we were amazed by the simple clearing where this log cabin sits peacefully alone as if it’s been there for 100 years. The rustic charm is nicely offset with modern amenities in the kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, oven and microwave, cooking is easy. On the warm evenings, dining on the front porch was such a treat and occasionally deer would stroll thru on their way to the lake. The selection of boats we shared with one other cabin was amazing…canoe, kayak or rowboat, a bit of a walk or short drive from the cabin. It is well worth taking advantage as the views from the lake are amazing and were never saw anyone else out there. It’s was great to be in such a safe haven where the kids can run, the neighbors are friendly and the owners were marvelous. As we share our pictures and stories with friends, I know several have you and your cabins at Lake Williams scheduled for their next family getaway. Thank you Berta and Tom for a remarkable stay.Owner response: You did such a great job of describing our property. Thanks so much for letting other guests see the cabin and lake through your eyes! Roberta and Tom
