Cozy, one-bedroom, OCEAN VIEW, condominium on South Mission Beach jetty. This property has a breathtaking view of the beach and jetty. Just sit back on the sofa, or patio, and watch the sea craft coming and going into Mission Bay...along with Dolphins and sea lions...
Totally remodeled and completely furnished (CDs and cable TV) along with a new 42 inch flat screen TV mounted on the wall, with a smaller TV in the bedroom... From the living room, and full size kitchen this panoramic ocean view condo is fully furnished, ie. linens, kitchen utensils, queen size bed,new in 2010, and futons for the kids..In the common area, is a Jaccuzi, laundry room,two built in gas BBQ's, and two beach bikes (for my unit)..this complex is gated, and comes with assigned off St. parking...There has never been an unhappy renter!
Check the calendar, I keep it current, there are limited weeks left for summer of 2010...I will rent for a min. of 3 days if available...

Great family getaway!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 kids (4yrs and 2yrs) the last week of June. This is the perfect location for a family wanting to be near the beach/water. The condo has an incredible view; we spent every morning eating breakfast on the front porch and watching the boats go by. Other than shopping for food, the condo has everything you need for your stay. Parking was a bit tight as mentioned in the other review, but we were able to park our minivan without incident. The bay is just a minute to your left and the ocean just a minute to your right; you can watch the Sea World fireworks from the bay beach every night (very safe and quiet neighborhood). We took in a lot of sights and access to the major freeways was very easy. Would definitely stay again!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We (husband and 9 year old daughter) stayed at the Mission beach condo May 22 - 25 2010. The view of the water was beautiful and much nicer than on the website photos. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Belmont Amusement park was about 2 miles away and the zoo and and Seaworld were within 15 minutes by car. We watched the the Seaworld fireworks at the park next door. There is a nice grocery store called Ralphs up the road a few miles and the owner supplied a membership card so we would receive the member discounts. The parking space is a little tight if you have a bigger car. We had a full-size Malibu which just fit in and luckily there was no one on the one side. It is the last parking spot so there is room to get out on the other side if someone was in the next spot. Besides going to the amusement park, Seaworld and the Zoo we did the 59 mile scenic drive and loved the stop at La Jolla Cove where we saw so many seals laying on the beach and on the rocks. The tidepools at Cabrillo National Monument were also fun and my daughter loved the dog surfing competion at Imperial Beach. All this in four days. Would stay a week next time.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.
