This home and our vacation was just 'what the doctor ordered'. We loved the secluded nature of the property, the great views and beach access. The home is well maintained and decorated. Long walks or bike rides on the beach were just steps away while historic St. Augustine was within a great bike ride (or short drive). We certainly see ourselves returning.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Dr. J. Goodlett McDaniel is an associate dean and associate provost at George Mason University. Goodlett has owned and managed vacation rental properties since 1984. The house is St. Augustine is unique in every way and has had writers, artists, educators, and visitors from many countries as guests. Designers from Mattel spent over a week during Daytona week at the house while they designed new toy line. One of the designers left a Mattel coffee mug that has been in the house for 10 years. There is nothing ordinary about 'Turtle Dunes'. A very special, restful, and completely unique home.
