This one story single family home has recently been renovated with hardwood floors throughout and stainless steel appliances. The Master has a queen, the second has a full and the third has 2 twins. Our home is situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by wind-swept live oaks, hibiscus and an orchid tree.
We are within walking distances to HEB Foods, a variety of Eateries and to Little Bay where you can wade for Reds and Trout or fish from the bank. You can also launch your boat from Little Bay and head out to bigger waters if you choose. Drive 30 min to Port Aransas to hit the beach or take the kids in a 5 minute car ride to the Rockport Public Beach.
Rockport has many things to offer for both adults and kids. Staying longer?
Drive 25 - 30 min to Corpus Christi for more restaurants and shopping, or visit the Texas State Aquarium or the USS Lexington (WWII Aircraft Carrier). Our family has been to both and it is definitely worth the trip!!
If you like the outdoors, there is plenty of wildlife viewing locally or take a short 20 minute drive to the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. There you can take in the beauty of the Texas Coastal Wetlands which host the endangered Whooping Crane (Oct - Apr) and many other species of wildlife.
A bird-watchers dream! Or soak up the sun while you shop around in Historic Downtown Rockport at the many galleries they have to offer.
