This gorgeous property was beyond our expectations. Very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The amenities were plentiful. The cottage is very well kept and the owners are so helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend a visit be it for a couple like is or the whole family. I guarantee we will be back soon. Just a small slice of heaven that you must experience for yourself. Mike, Rae and our 6lb Chihuahua, Sebastian.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We have visited this cottage several times and always find it to be wonderful. Lake Petenwell is gorgeous, and the view from the deck and pier is amazing. The cottage is roomy and its two main bedrooms (plus loft) are enough space for a lot of people to stay. The area is very wooded and quiet, and has several quaint bars and restaurants. I love spending time there, and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended for families or groups of friends wanting to have summer fun, or for couples looking for a quiet getaway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
