This Lake Tahoe jewel, nestled in Pinewild's picturesque gated community, boasts a gorgeous view of the historic Bourne meadow and the mountains behind from both levels. Eight steps lead you to the front door of this wonderful townhome. Upon entering this 1750+ square foot home, notice the brass plaques above the named bedrooms which were named after favorite ski areas or places.
The living areas are on the upper level. You will immediately know that you are in a mountain home as you enjoy the comfortable leather furniture, the antler lighting, the mission rocker by the ceramic log gas fireplace, and the assortment of vintage skis, snowshoes and ice skates decorating the walls. The kitchen is equipped and you can enjoy your meals at the dining table or on the deck at the patio furniture. Connected to the living areas are the “Whistler” and “Blackcomb” rooms. The “Whistler” bedroom has two mission style twin beds with lodge style inspired quilts. A new foosball table will provides many hours of family fun. Attached to the “Whistler” bedroom is the “Blackcomb” bunk bed area with matching quilts. A bath with a shower is on the upper level. Additional amenities on the upper level include a TV/DVD/VCR, a CD player, and a breakfast bar. A propane BBQ is available on the upper deck for your cooking pleasure.
On the entrance (lower) level, you will be comfortable in the two bedroom suites. The “Lucerne” bedroom boasts pine furniture, a queen bed with a decorative headboard and a bear themed bedspread and a pine cone lamp. The “Lucerne” room has a full bath with a tub. The master bedroom, the “Deer Valley” room, continues the lodge feeling of the home with a king bed with an aspen style log headboard. The mountain theme comforter will keep you cozy as you watch a fire in the fireplace equipped with ceramic logs and fueled by natural gas. A full bath including a tub completes the “Deer Valley” master bedroom suite. On the lower deck off the master bedroom is a private 3 person hot tub that will ease your muscles after a day of skiing or warm up after a dip in the lake! Completing the lower level is a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer.
Just steps from the beach, you can relax at the beautiful, long, sandy beach during the day or watch an incredible sunset at night. After relaxing or skiing, head off to the casinos which are about two miles away from some Lake Tahoe nightlife and amazing restaurants. For those who enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or great views from atop the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Heavenly Ski Resort is only a 5 minute drive away. Eight additional alpine ski resorts are within an hour drive. Lake Tahoe offers a variety of wonderful indoor and outdoor activities year round.
We have furnished this wonderful Lake Tahoe home with handpicked furnishings to make you feel like you have truly gotten away to the mountains. We do require a $400 security deposit. This is just precautionary as it is our hope that you will treat our home as you would yours. We also do we require a $100 gate card/key deposit since the locks would need to be changed if the key is not returned and the gate card would have to be canceled and replaced. Both deposits are fully refundable as soon as the gate card and key are returned and the property has been checked and is in good condition. The cleaning fee at the end of your stay is $165.

My family just got back from 5 days at the Tahoe Jewel and we absolutely loved this place. It had everything that really matters to us in a vacation rental and more. It was clean, comfortable and really conveniently located. Pinewild is a great community where we had stayed before and this particular townhouse has a nice spot within the complex - really pretty meadow views and so close to the lake/beach. The layout of the unit itself is great for families and friends - the kitchen, living room and dining room are all open to each other and very nicely furnished and comfortable. The downstairs bedrooms each have their own bathroom and the upstairs bedroom has an attached area with bunk beds that are younger kids LOVED. Last but not least, the owners have kept the quality up throughout the unit - towels are soft and absorbent, sheets are soft, extra blankets are everywhere. Just a really nice place to stay. I highly recommend it and we will certainly go back.

We enjoyed being here so much. It was very spacious for the 5 of us. The beds are comfortable and the bedding was soft and warm. Everything was clean and ready to use. The kids loved the foosball table. Loved the layout of the condo, I could be in the kitchen cooking, with a view of the meadow as well as see what the kids were doing in the living room or at the dining table. We loved the view of the meadow and the short walk to the beach. The fireplaces worked great, and warmed up the room quickly. The bathrooms were spacious, and the hot water got hot quickly! I also loved that everything was there - I didn't need to bring anything but our food! Conveniently located near a nice grocery store as well. Accurate descriptions and pictures - more beautiful in person. We enjoyed the wildlife such as the ducks, the squirrels, rabbits, birds and even heard coyotes at night. The Owner was easy to correspond with and always responded quickly to any questions I had. Our deposit was returned quickly. I would highly recommend this property. It was a close enough drive to the "action" near the casinos, but the location is private and quiet enough to feel like you are on vacation. Perfect! Thank you for sharing your Tahoe Jewel! We can't wait to go back again!

The "Tahoe Jewel" is EXACTLY that. Big, spacious, luxurious, comfortable. It is fully equipped with all you need for a great stay. The hot tub on the deck is perfect after a day of sightseeing or exercise on the mountains. It is on the beach and and a short drive to Stateline and the casinos. It's in a perfect location with a large supermaket close by too. We are a family of 5 and spent 4 nights here in January 2011. The house and area are so lovely that I wish we were able to stay much longer. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have their own space. 8 people can easily stay here and still have room to move. The foosball table was a big hit with the boys also. The owners are VERY helpful and promptly answered every query we had. They are wonderful hosts and should be very proud of their beautiful holiday home that they share with others. Thanks Brian and Linda. Can't wait 'til we are financial enough to come back and spend more quality time in your "Tahoe Jewel". This property is HIGHLY recommended.

Large, very clean unit with beautiful meadow view. Well appointed: cushy towels, comfy beds and really comfy couches in living room. Pinewild location is great...wonderful beach and pier. Recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this condo. My kids loved the foosball. The beach was so beautiful and we were the only ones on it--such a great location. The king bed was so comfy.

We love this condo! It's about five minutes from Heavenly and steps from the beach. There's plenty of room for everyone here . . . hanging out on one of the two decks, lounging in thhe hot tub and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything I need to whip up breakfast or dinner and the two fireplaces are great for a big group in the living room or a little romance in the master bedroom. It's the only place we stay whenever we're in South Lake Tahoe!
