Beautiful lakefront setting on Lake Conroe with over 100 feet of water frontage. Minutes from I-45 just north of Conroe.
The house contains 2 master suites with king size beds and full, private bathrooms as well as a third bedroom with a california king bed and a bunk bed single on top & double on bottom. The spacious living room opens into the kitchen and dining rooms and offers great views of the water as well as a wood fireplace for those chilly evenings or mornings. The recently remodeled gourmet Viking kitchen includes a built in refrigerator, oversized gas range with double oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, triple sink, granite counter tops, and comes stocked with all cooking necessities (mixer, blender, coffeemaker, pots & pans, utensils and place settings) The dining room, kitchen and living room all offer spectacular views of the lake and yard. Also, the house has a separate laundry room with full sized washer/dryer.
The outdoor covered deck includes a refrigerator and a sink. Under the covered veranda is a built in Hot tub perfect for warming up on a cold morning or relaxing sore muscles after a hard day on the lake. 2 hammocks are also included as well as a stereo system to provide music outside with a CD player and an input for your iPod or MP3 player.
The boathouse is made of 3 covered boat slips with a 2-tiered rooftop deck. One boat slip is set up with a lift to park your boat for your stay which provides instant access to the lake. A second slip is the owners slip. The third slip is without a lift for temporary parking of a boat. It's great for those early morning or sunset runs when the lake is glass and everyone else is scrambling to trailer their boats. The large rooftop deck is ideal for watching the sunsets or checking out the action on the lake. For your convenience there is a private neighborhood boat launch 100 yards away for your use.
Also attached to the house is an 800 square foot game/theater room with a huge screen (60 square feet) hooked up to a projector with cable, DVD player, and surround sound. Great place to escape the sun for a while or those summer showers. This room also can sleep many extra guests.
There is great fishing from or swimming under the decks all times of year. Lake Conroe is host to several bass fishing tournaments and has lots of fish all year round. A kayak is available also.
This is a great family vacation home all times of year. A truly unique property with 1 &1/2 acres of grass for the kids to play and have fun or swing on a tree swing . The back yard also has a basketball court.
Lake Conroe is a large lake with everything you need located on the lake so bring your boat and you won't ever need to drive your car. There are several bars, restaurants, gas stations, and parks located on the lake with dock parking for your boat. Also the lake has an island with a man made beach for public use as well as other sandy beaches perfect for day trips on the water.

Thank you so much for sharing your home. My family had a wonderful time here. We can't wait to come back. You told me on the phone we were going to enjoy it and we sure have. First trip we've has that everyone had something to do. My kids never once said they were bored. Thank you again.

My family had the privilage of staying in this home for the first week of July and we had a great time! The house was just as described and even better. The home was very tastefully decorated, the furniture was comfortable and this includes the beds! There were 3 king size beds as well as a full and twin size bunk bed, Oh and did I mention the amazingly comfortable sofas in the media room? There was plenty of space for everyone without feeling overcrowded. I was very appreciative of the provisions in the kitchen. We have stayed at other homes in this area and I was far more impressed with the thought that went into making this a comfortable home for families, including those with pets. I was able to speak with the owners multiple times prior to our stay as well as during our stay as they were readily available to answer any questions I may have had. The lake was really very low due to the drought that we are experiencing but we were able to dock our boat and jet ski at the boathouse and were very close to the larger open water. Even with the lake being low we were able to catch a few fish right from the boat house. If you are looking for a great place to get away to for your family, look no more! This is the place! Thank you to the owners for making this the perfect home away from home!
