Beautiful lakefront setting on Lake Conroe with over 150 feet of water frontage. Minutes from I-45 just north of Conroe.
The house contains 2 master suites with king size beds and full, private bathrooms as well as a children's room with a bunk bed and futon. The spacious living room opens into the kitchen and dining rooms and offers great views of the water as well as a wood fireplace for those chilly evenings or mornings. The recently remodeled gourmet Viking kitchen includes a built in refrigerator, oversized gas range with double oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, triple sink, granite counter tops, and comes stocked with all cooking necessities (mixer, blender, coffeemaker, pots & pans, utensils and place settings) The dining room, kitchen and living room all offer spectacular views of the lake and yard. Also, the house has a separate laundry room with full sized washer/dryer.
The outdoor covered deck consists of a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a built in Gas BBQ with smoker and rotisserie. Also built in outside are a refrigerator and a sink. Also under the covered veranda is a built in Hot tub perfect for warming up on a cold morning or relaxing sore muscles after a hard day on the lake. 2 hammocks are also included as well as a stereo system to provide music outside including a CD player and an input for your iPod or MP3 player.
The boathouse is made of 3 covered boat slips with a 2-tiered rooftop deck. One boat slip is set up with a lift to park your boat for your stay which provides instant access to the lake. (lift uses straps so no v-drives) We also have a slip set up with a lift for 2 jet skis and a third slip without a lift for temporary parking of a pontoon boat or other boat. Great for those early morning or sunset runs when the lake is glass and everyone else is scrambling to trailer their boats. The large rooftop deck is ideal for watching the sunsets or checking out the action on the lake. For your convenience there is a private neighborhood boat launch 100 yards away for your use.
Also attached to the house is a 800 square foot game/theater room with a huge screen (60 square feet) hooked up to a projector with cable, DVD player, and surround sound. Great place to escape the sun for a while or those summer showers. This room also can sleep many extra guests.
There is great fishing from (and under) the decks all times of year. Lake Conroe is host to several bass fishing tournaments and has lots of fish all year round. Provided with the house is a canoe which is perfect for getting to the hard to reach fishing spots in the nearby canals or just for a cruise on the water.
This is a great vacation home all times of year. A truly unique property with 5 acres of grass for the kids and pets to run and private lake access. The back yard also has a basketball court, playhouse and several tree swings.
Lake Conroe is a large lake with everything you need located on the lake so bring your boat and you won't ever need to drive your car. There are several bars, restaurant, gas stations, and parks located on the lake with dock parking for your boat. Also the lake has an island with a man made beach for public use as well as other sandy beaches perfect for day trips on the water.

Why the Owner Chose Willis
This house is perfect for a true lake enthusiast. At the end of a small dead end road with a private boat launch a couple hundred yards away. On the main body of the lake (not a canal) but far enough from the main channel to have great fishing and little boat traffic. Plus there are many rivers and inlets that are perfect to explore and fish by canoe.

I bought this house on the lake because I wanted space to breath and be on the water. I spent 3 years renovating the inside and back patio area and then had to move away but can't bring myself to sell it so I am doing the rental thing.
