I would HIGHLY recommend this property! the condo is clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. its smack in between the luxury One and ONly Resort and Atlantis on a quiet section of beach. Barbie, the property manager was more then helpful. She was there when we arrived to make sure we were settled and checked in once/day after that to clean and bring us provisions. she drove us to the grocery store twice and made a special trip to get us water, and to a less expensive liquor store. She left us her cell and told us we could call anytime, and she always answered! She was the best and really helped make our stay a memorable one:)

We went to the Bahamas to renew our wedding vows after 31 years. There were 8 of us and we had a blast. Barbara was amazing and was able to help us with a florist, groceries,and several other things.The place was clean and perfect for the whole family. It is in a great location and just far enough away from Atlantis to still have privacy but close enough to walk for the fun there. The weather was not really cooperative several days but we found plenty to do. We will never stay in a Hotel again if possible. Viola's has the best Pina Coladas and they were all so nice. Great Place!!!

Our stay at Tranquility Sunrise was almost perfect. We were six adults who stayed in late November. The condo was nicely furnished, all appliances worked, plenty of dishes and cooking stuff. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We barbequed on the patio a couple of times - it was great. Shortly after we arrived, Barbie took us to the store to load up on groceries for the week, and came to clean the condo daily. Most necessities are within walking distance, and it is true that you can easily walk to the Atlantis resort. I found a relatively inexpensive liquor store at the hotel next door to the condos. The walk to the ferry was a little more challenging, about 15 minutes. You have to negotiate with the taxi drivers. They will compete with each other, but will overcharge you if you don't negotiate. Everyone on the island expects to be tipped. The food at the on sight cafe was excellent. My only complaint is that the pool was not heated and I thought the water was too cold for swimming. Also, you have to have a group if you want to charter a fishing trip because they don't book other passengers to fill the boat and charge full price to take one or two people out. I suggest trying to book that in advance.

This was our 3td trip to the Bahamas and it was the best of all. The condo is a great place. Barbara is a true treasure as she is so friendly and has a kind heart. She was a big help to us. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations and the beach basically right out your door. We enjoyed everything especially the Powerboat Adventures. It was amazing. I decided to retire this year, and with that, I was scheduled to receive some extra cash from my employer. I decided use my new wealth to take my family on a vacation..., all 9 of us together. I offered the group several choices, and Tranquility Sunrise was the one chosen by the group. We could not have made a better choice! The villa was perfect, like being at home only bigger. The grounds were well kept and perfect for our group.The grandkids lovd the pools. And the beach...! Incredible...! Soft white sand and crystal clear water. Just beautiful. Barbara provided us with just the right amout of assistance. We even walked over to Atlantis a couple of times. We will have beautiful memories forever.

This was a wonderful experience for our son's graduation from highschool. We took the whole family, 2 grandkids, 6 adults and it was fantastic. We felt very safe. It was in a gated community and the beach and pool right outside the villa. All of the staff, (two Barbie's) were exceptional. We have made life long friends. Atlantis was within walking distance and beautiful. Villa was well maintained and we highly recommend it. This will probably be our beach destination from this point on.

Home looked just like the pictures, the location was great. Barbie was a great help to us, took us to get groceries the first night we arrived even though it was late, she also let us know about different places to eat. My 6 y.o. loved the beach and the pool (and the video games) Great place to stay, I would definitely recommend it.

Just returned from March Break 2011 a week at Tranquility Sunrise! It was cool for the first day and a half, but with Atlantis only a 5 minuite walk, there was still things to do till the sun came out! No complaints of the villa. We were a party of 6, two adults, two kids and two teenagers! Everyone loved it. Pool right outside and the beach a hop away from that. We can't thank Barb enough for all her help. Friendly, friendly people. Only went on one day trip, even though it actually rained most of the day, it was a thrill of a life time. Powerboat Adventures...swim with wild sharks, eat, drink, adults and kids loved it! What rain? We will be doing this for many years to come! Thank you!

My husband's 50th birthday

I just wanted to say that we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at this tropical paradise. Us and along with 2 other couples truly enjoyed the island style accommodations and found it to be exactly what we needed. Barbara was very helpful and tipped us off to a great powerboat adventure and also took us to the grocery store the first day we got there. We visited Atlantis but found this villa by far, more enjoyable and relaxing. While it is very expensive to eat out, we enjoyed going to the local fish docks and getting fresh grouper and lobster and cooking it at the villa. I would highly recommend getting fresh fish there and enjoying it. We also enjoyed eating at the Mesa grill at Atlantis, very pricey but worth it. We did not rent a car as Atlantis was a nice stroll and taxi cabs are plenty but be ready to pay. We did take the ferry over to Nassau and visited the straw market. You can get some great deals there but I did not like all the panhandling. Thanks again for a wonderful memory!!

I'll start out with the positive. Our family stayed at tranqulity sunrise in mid Jan. My wife, 15 month old son, myself, my parents, my sister and her husband and there 3 kids. The beach was beautiful and we had a great time down by the ocean, the condo was big enough to handle all of us and the location was great if you are interested in Atlantis. Violas on the property is nice if you want a drink or something to eat close to the condo. The food is ok and the service is avg. at best. Here are some of the things we were dissapointed in. Apon arrival Barbra who is the local property manager was not at the property. We called her and were told she had left and would not be back for an hour. She said she had been waiting there all day for us because she didn't have are travel schedule which I had emailed to Barbie. She seemed kind of put out that we asked here to come back to bring us to the store. The bathroom on the lower level needs work, water leaks all over the floor when you shower, the fridge was leaking some kind of black gue on the floor and needs to be replaced, the counter top was cracked and had ants crawling out of it onto the counter top. They were working on the property when we were there, for two days they were jackhammering the sidewalk outside the front door which in not very convenient when you have a 15 month old trying to nap. They came one day and cut the shrubs in front of the porch and left a huge pile of brush right in front of the steps for half the day, making it very hard to even get out of the condo. I understand that work needs to be done but when you spend the kind of money they are asking for to stay here it was kind of dissapointing. If you are expecting to have the condo cleaned for you dont.. We did all of the cleaning it was probably cleaner when we left then when we got there. We had to call Barbra to let her know we needed TP and that the phone didn't work, light bulbs were burnt out in numerous lights, all stuff that should have been taken care of ahead of time especially if you were waiting there all day for us like she claimed. Don't get me wrong we made the best of it and still had a great time, but for the money we spent it was a little dissapointing.

A HUGE thank you for the wonderful condo!! We had a blast in Paradise. The condo was great and accommodated all of us wonderfully. There were 5 adults and 2 children. A special thanks for taking down a bed in one of the rooms for the 2 pack and plays to fit for the twins. My twin boys had a blast!! The unit was so close to everything we needed and the best part was it was on the 1st floor and footsteps away from the pool and ocean. We loved having a full kitchen and not having to go out to eat everyday. Barbara was wonderful and really took good care of us. She is such a hard and loyal worker. It was so nice knowing if we needed something she was there to answer all of our questions. Thanks so much for sharing a little piece of heaven with us. We hope to return someday and I would highly recommend your place to family and friends.

We made the right choice by staying at Sunrise Beach Villas on Paradise Island. The location was great. Five minute walk to the One and Only Ocean Club, Atlantis and the harbor. No need for a car! Beautiful and quiet complex. The villa was perfect for our family of six (four young adult children). It would definitely sleep eight adults comfortably. Nice patio and the pool is right outside your door. Very short walk to the beach which is less crowded than those located near the hotels. Cooking at the villa saved us thousands of dollars which in turn made it possible for us to enjoy all the activities available on and around Nassau/Paradise Island.

We really liked the close proximity of the pool and ocean! Beautiful beaches with water activities on the beach -- jet ski, hair braiding, and banana boat rides. Close to Atlantis and the Marina Village for activities and food. Viola's restaurant is on the property and is very convenient. Barbara was helpful in taking us to the grocery. Thanks Bert and Barbara. Would recommend this property for any age group. Do need a car or taxi -- buses not available.

My family and I had a great stay at Tranquility Sunrise. The Atlantis resort is literally a 5 minute walk, so if you want access to a "Vegas-style" resort, it's right there. However, the Sunrise Beach Villas provide a quiet escape -- it felt like we had a private pool and beach just for us! And what a beach! Crystal clear waters, soft white sand, and (unlike the beach in front of the Atlantis) NO ROCKS! Comfortable beach chairs were provided with the condo, and we bought a beach umbrella for a little shade (which we left for future guests -- enjoy! ;-) The condo itself was clean and spacious enough for six adults, and the daily service provided by Barbara and Marjorie was outstanding. They provided plenty of suggestions for local eateries and activities, and even drove us to the grocery store when we arrived to help us get settled in. The big flat-screen TVs, X-Box, and wireless internet w/Vonage phone were a big hit with the 4 "young adults" in our family. You won't want/need a car here. The best beach I've ever seen is right outside your door, a mega-resort is just a 5 minute walk away, and there is plenty of shopping/dining options nearby. Watersport rentals are easy to find on the beach, and if you want to take part in one of the many snorkeling, boating, fishing, sight-seeing excursions -- they will pick you up right at the villa. If you decide to venture off the island and explore Nassau, taxis are plentiful and cheap. The ONLY downside to our trip was the quality/service of the local restaurants. (A 15% gratuity is automatically added at all restaurants in Bahamas, so I guess the staff doesn't feel that they have to work for their tips...) We tried a couple restaurants on Paradise Island (Anthony's) and in Nassau (Conch Fritters), and were very disappointed. However, the quality of food and the service in the Atlantis eateries we tried (Carmine's, Murray's deli) was exceptional. The cost was higher, but it was worth it! Also, Viola's Bar & Grill located at the Sunrise Beach Villas was better than most. All in all, I couldn't imaging better accommodations or a better location for a family vacation! We had a wonderful vacation. This was our second stay at Tranquility Sunrise. We loved relaxing on the deck while the kids swam at the pool. The beach is only a few steps away and it is not like any other beach you have ever seen - pristine! The Potter's Cay is a short cab ride away (or a bit of a jaunt). We picked up fresh grouper and BBQ'd it (we had enough for 2 delicious meals). We took in 2 excursions (Dolphin Encounters and Powerboat Adventures) - both amazing and highly recommended! Both excursions leave from the dock which is a short walk from the condo. The condo is also a close walk to many other ammenities. We love eating at Anthony's restaurant and the ice cream at Ben & Jerrys (at Atlantis) is delicious! Be sure to take a walk along the pier at Atlantis and check out the yachts! We had another wonderful vacation and staying at Tranquility Sunrise made it amazing! We would highly reccommend staying here to anyone.The GsSt. Albert, Alberta

We always stay in condos at various Carribbean destinations through the years and our group unanimously agrees that Sunrise Tranquility is the closest we've come to our perfect experience. Close to all the action yet secluded. We're far from college age yet we thoroughly enjoyed our week in the heart of spring break season. We could walk the beach almost alone in the AM. It was great fun to watch the college age kids knowing we always had the option to retreat to the seclusion of the pool if it got a little too hectic in the PM. The beach is fantastic, the people friendly and the condo is perfect.

The unit has loads of space, is clean and nicely decorated, and offered an exceptional location on the beach! The close proximity to the Atlantis Resort was a fantastic feature, as we would walk there daily to meet with other family members staying at the resort. The Sunrise staff were very accomodating, and Viola's staff even set up the bar for my Father's 70th Birthday! We had the most wonderful vacation at Tranquility Sunrise Villas. The villa was very well kept and perfect for the 5 of us. You are a 10 minute sandy walk to Atlantis and a walk down the stairs to a beautiful beachfront. We were thinking about renting a car and we are glad we didnt. You can walk anywhere you would want to be in minutes. Bert takes great care of his villa and the house keeper does a great job of keeping things clean, tourguiding you on the island and assisting with your shopping. I will definitely be returning and staying there again. And to boot, it is a fraction of the price of staying at any of the popular resorts which are to the right and left of you. Thank you Bert and staff.

Sweet Family or Couples Getaway

5 Days in November well spent. Myself, my wife, and two other couples we knew headed down to New Providence Island/Nassau to attend a wedding and to catch some rays in a paradise. We had previously arranged to stay at another Tranquility rental but last minute this one came up and we decided that this larger place on Cabbage Beach would be better for us. We were very happy with the choice we made. The condo was very clean and hospitable Bert and the housekeeper Barb were both very nice, helpful and easy to deal with. We had an extremely pleasurable experience altogether. The Villa's pool and courtyard were both fairly quiet but with enough use to not feel totally secluded and to potentially meet others who are vacationing. The beach was beautiful. The surf did get a little rough at times but we enjoyed it. No weeds, no rocks, just beautiful sand in the water. Really nice for snorkeling or just floating around. Lots to do on the beach as well. (Jetski rentals, para-sailing, etc.) The sand was a very fine blend of crushed white shells, not really silica sand, but nice to walk on a and lie in. The location of the condo was better than we had anticipated. Having Atlantis down the road a 5-10 minute walk away was good for a few nights of entertainment too. The trip to Cable beach only took about 30 minutes by ferry and by Jitney and only cost about $10 each, each way. We will definitely be recommending the location to friends and family, and would return ourselves. With potentially 3-4 couples it makes it very affordable to go to a remarkably beautiful island at your own pace, without the hustle and bustle of a resort. 5 star fun and relaxation!

Tranquility Sunrise was a perfect match of our group. My husband and I, his parents, sister and her 5 and 8 year olds were all easily accommodated in the villa. The location was perfect and the pool and beach only steps away made it a great place for a group of all ages. The people were all very friendly and helpful; Barbara was very kind to us. Viola's the on property bar and grille was a great place to hang out. We would recommend this villa and we hope to visit again!

Wonderful Holiday

This property was the perfect location for our holiday. The villa was clean and well supplied with towels linens, dishes etc. The rooms were well appointed and having a tv in each room was a real plus for us. The beach was clean and the water crystal clear, the pools were great and very handy. It truly is walking distance to Atlantis and great for us who didnt want to stay with the crowds, we decided to spend time in the casino and the water park on different days but were very happy to come back to our much less crowded comfortable place on the beach. We did enjoy the resturants at Atlantis and the one on site was very good for a quick burger or breakfast. The prices were much more reasonable than at Atlantis! We walked to the pier and took a tour to Blue Lagoon to swim with the dolphins. It was a side trip and totally worth the money if your interested in spending some time with dolphins and sea lions. We rented a car this time however I think we really could have saved the money, so on our next trip we will forgo the vehicle, you really can get around on foot quite easily, and there is a ferry that goes to Nassau regularly through the day. I highly recommend this property and truly can't wait until we can go back again!

The description, location, layout and ammenities for this villa is right on, it was perfect for our group. We arrived to a wonderfully clean bright villa that had a large container of bottled water for us to use. The first night we ate at the resturant on the grounds and it was very good value for money in fact we ended up eating there several times during our week long stay. The property was very clean, and kept that way all week by a wonderful person who we really enjoyed talking with. At one point we had a concern that the toilet wasnt flushing properly. We contacted Bert, who came right over and as it turned out it there was nothing wrong with the bathroom it was our understanding of how to hold the handle down....anyway Bert was wonderful explained how to solve the problem and wished us a great holiday. Outstanding customer service from the owner himself! It was really wonderful being so close to Atlantis to just walk over and enjoy the environment but come back to our own beach and pool which was perfect for lounging or swimming. Our 20 something sons and their girlfriends went over and bought day passes to the waterpark. They had a great time and came back to have dinner in the villa. There was not a problem with eight of us in the villa there was lots of room to spread out or eat together in the evening if we wished. We ate at the Poop Deck and it was really very good. The Manager was wonderful to us and it was a great experience. The majority of our time was spent lounging by the pool or swimming in the ocean, so for someone who wants a wonderful place to relax, this is the perfect location. If you want to be close to the action at Atlantis, to enjoy the environment it has to offer but the ability to walk away to your own paradise, this is the place to stay! Its an easy walk to the ferry which connects you with Nassau or many of the tour operators leave from the ferry dock to other destinations. Which means you can easily access fun without having a rental car. We will definitely be going back to Bert's property on Paradise Island. It was a vacation that our entire family will remember and enjoy for years to come.

This property is of superior quality, we loved that it was so tranquil, while being so close to the action, should you wish to partake. A pool is right outside another just round the corner, the door and a beautiful beach, probably the best in the Bahamas, just a few steps away. Very child friendly. Has a lively bar that does great snack-type food that you can take back to your accommodation.

Beautiful, well maintaned Villa. Walk out the back patio, the pool is right there,turn left,walk 30 seconds, and you are on a tropical beach, with all watersports right in front of you.Walk to Atlantis to shop or enjoy the nightlife.Take a cab and you are in Nassau in 5 minutes. Staff is courteous and friendly, if you need something,they respond quickly! Couldn't get my kids out of the pool or off the beach! Would definitely come back!

The place was wonderful; within walking distance to Atlantis and other tourist areas while providing the comfort, peace, and solace that comes along with these villas. Would definitely recommend to any families looking for a family vacation! We were a family of 8, and everyone had a great time including grandma, parents, and kids. The only slight issue we had was that the air conditioner was having troubles working correctly; at times it'd work great while at other times only the fan would turn on!

I was very impressed with our villa. It was wonderful. Bert and Brenda (I think that was her name, so I am so forgetful) were very kind. They made our stay a comfortable one. Beach-side property great for families/groups

Our party of eight (three generations of a family) greatly enjoyed this property, particularly the 30-second walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we've visited. The pools at the facility were well-maintained and kid and grown-up friendly. The owner was very responsive, and arranged for the housekeeper to drive us to the market on the first day at no cost; this was especially helpful since food options on Paradise Island revolve around the exorbitantly-priced Atlantis. We also walked to the Atlantis (5-10 minutes) several times to check out the many amenities. We did not rent a car, and did not miss it. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be very likely to rent the same property again.

Our family completely enjoyed our stay! The place was clean, comfy, had a great pool and was right on that white sand beach with the turqoise ocean. Beyond Words - Amazing Vacation

We had the pleasure of staying in this amazing condo. We loved opening our door and being right at the pool or choosing the short walk down to the beautiful beach. We had the opportunity to visit 5 different beaches while we were on the island and Cabbage Beach was the absolute best. It was clean, quiet (yet close to any water activities you would like to experience) and the color of the water was like nothing we had seen before. This condo is within walking distance to many restaurants and excursions. We loved Anthony's restaurant and the short taxi ride to The Fish Fry was well worth it! There were 7 of us in this condo (4 adults and 3 children - ages 8, 5, & 2). We had plenty of room and enjoyed all the ammenities of the condo. Anything we were looking for, we found (blender, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels etc..). If we had any questions Bert and his crew were quick to help us out. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone and we look forward to going back next Spring Break!

Our family just stayed at the house after renting it and it was great! Newly renovated and in a great location near Atlantis, we were able to walk to all the fun. The beach was amazing and only 30 seconds out the door. A great rental for families or couples.
